    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communication systems, for example those supporting accumulated feedback, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a plurality of accumulated feedback events that are each representative of different feedback combinations for reporting accumulated feedback for a set of scheduled downlink occasions and may determining the accumulated feedback for the set of scheduled downlink occasions. The UE may select, from the plurality of accumulated feedback events, a representative event based on the accumulated feedback and may transmit an uplink control message indicative of the representative event. In some examples, transmitting the uplink control message may include identifying a Huffman code for the representative event and transmitting the Huffman code via one or more stages of the uplink control message.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a request for an on-demand secret key to a network entity, such as if a secret key for a sidelink channel has expired before a refresh timer of the secret key expires. The UE may transmit a request for an update to a secret key associated with a first physical layer channel secured for sidelink communications based on the secret key being expired. The request may include an identifier of the first physical layer channel associated with the secret key. The UE may receive the update to the secret key based transmitting the request. In some cases, the UE may transmit an indication of the update to the secret key to a second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for preconfigured reference signal resources for secret key extraction are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may identify a set of resources reserved for a secret key derivation process including an exchange of reference signals between the UE and a first wireless device using the set of resources. As such, the UE may transmit a first reference signal to the first wireless device using the set of resources and may receive a second reference signal from the first wireless device in accordance with the secret key derivation process. The UE may estimate a communications channel between the UE and the first wireless device and may determine the secret key based on the communications channel in accordance with the secret key derivation process. Accordingly, the UE may communicate with a selected wireless device over the communications channel using wireless communications secured using the secret key.

    Abstract: During positioning of a user equipment (UE), downlink (DL) positioning reference signals (PRS) transmitted by one or more transmission reception point (TRP) in a wireless communication system may be preempted or punctured by higher priority transmissions, such as ultra-reliable low-latency traffic (URLLC). A PRS preemption indication (PI) may be provided to a UE by a serving TRP identifying one or more TRPs affected by preemption. The PRS PI may further identify the time domain and frequency domain of the preempted DL PRS transmissions. The PRS PI may identify the time domain, e.g., based on a number of PRS symbols between two monitoring occasions, wherein only PRS symbols that contain downlink positioning reference signals associated with the group of TRPs are counted. The PRS PI may identify the frequency domain by identifying at least one of four or more frequency sub-bands of the preempted DL PRS transmissions.
