Abstract: An apparatus and method for supporting a precision time synchronization protocol of a stealth clock type are provided. The method may be performed by a stealth clock follower device and may include transmitting a sync message received from a neighbor device to an end-follower device, receiving a delay-request message from the end-follower device, and updating a residence time in a correction field of the received delay-request message. The method may also include transmitting the updated delay-request message to a leader device, receiving a delay-response message from the leader device, and performing time synchronization based on a time of the leader device by using an ingress time of the sync message, an egress time of the updated delay-request message, and time information contained in the sync message and the delay response-message. The method may further include transmitting the delay-response message to the end-follower device for time-synchronization.

Abstract: Provided is a method for monitoring 3D printing equipped with a 3D printing slicer and a recursive loop structure. A 3D printing method according to an embodiment of the present invention sets up a slicing environment for 3D printing of a 3D model, generates a mechanical code by performing slicing according to the setup environment, monitors the status of the 3D printing according to the generated mechanical code, and, depending on the monitoring result, determines whether or not to re-perform the setup and subsequent steps. Accordingly, by semi- or fully automating the 3D printing engineering process, the time and effort for engineering performance involving human participation are reduced, and the human resource is concentrated on a more important area, such that the effects of enhancing the 3D printing output quality and assuring the quality can be expected.

Abstract: There are provided a method for segmenting a sign language video by gloss to recognize a sign language sentence, and a method for training. According to an embodiment, a sign language video segmentation method receives an input of a sign language sentence video, and segments the inputted sign language sentence video by gloss. Accordingly, there is suggested a method for segmenting a sign language sentence video by gloss, analyzing various gloss sequences from the linguistic perspective, understanding meanings robustly in spite of various changes in sentences, and translating sign language into appropriate Korean sentences.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an all-solid-state battery electrode, an all-solid-state battery electrode manufactured by the method, and an all-solid-state battery including the electrode are disclosed. In the method, a specific type of binder included in the electrode is prepared in a fiber form by applying pressure to the binder under specific conditions, so that the fiber-form binder thus prepared has an average fineness that satisfies a specific range. Therefore, the all-solid-state battery including the electrode has an advantage of having high capacity even in the case of electrode thickening for high loading.

Abstract: This application relates to an absolute position detection device and detection method of a rotating body. In one aspect, the device includes first row magnets coupled to a rotating body to rotate together and having n pole pairs, and second row magnets coupled to the rotating body to rotate together and having (n+1) pole pairs. The device also includes a first Hall sensor installed adjacent to the first row magnets and configured to detect a change in magnetism according to rotation of the first row magnets. The device further includes a second Hall sensor installed adjacent to the second row magnets and configured to detect a change in magnetism according to rotation of the second row magnets. The device further includes a controller configured to measure an absolute position of the rotating body using signals output from the first and second Hall sensors.

Abstract: A conductive yarn pressure sensor is proposed. The pressure sensor may include a porous fiber layer having predetermined cavities formed therein. The pressure sensor may also include a first sensing electrode made of a first conductive yarn formed on one surface of the porous fiber layer, and a second sensing electrode made of a second conductive yarn formed on the other surface of the porous fiber layer. The first sensing electrode or the second sensing electrode may be provided so as to be in contact with each other in the cavities of the porous fiber layer due to external pressure. According to an embodiment, by having conductive yarn in flexible clothing or textile material, pressure can be sensed by effectively responding to deformation due to external pressure.

Abstract: Provided is an air housing apparatus for protecting, from contamination, scratches, damage and the like, a lens and a cover glass which affect the performance of an optical device installed on a vehicle such as a camera and LIDAR. The air housing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cover into which high pressure air is fed; an air guide for injecting the supplied high pressure air toward the front surface of a lens or a sensor; and an air housing provided so as to connect the cover and the air guide and transferring the high pressure air supplied from the cover to the air guide. Therefore, a lens, sensor, or cover glass of a vehicle-installed optical device such as a camera and LIDAR can be continually protected from contamination and scratches by means of the injected air. In addition, energy efficiency can be enhanced by controlling the discharge pressure of air provided by an air pressure generation apparatus on the basis of information relating to the running speed and RPM of the vehicle or the air flow direction and air flow velocity.
