    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a span configuration conflict between two or more span configurations associated with a span pattern for a carrier, wherein the two or more span configurations are associated with respective per-span capabilities for at least one of a quantity of non-overlapped control channel elements (CCEs) or a quantity of blind decodes to be performed for the carrier; select a span configuration or a per-span capability from the two or more span configurations to be used for the span pattern; and receive a communication on the carrier in accordance with the selected span configuration or the selected per-span capability. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method for wireless communication is described that includes receiving, at a user equipment (UE), via a control channel, configuration information for communications between the UE and a wireless device over reserved resources. The method further includes identifying, from the configuration information, an indication of a channel state information (CSI) report periodicity and transmitting a CSI report for a data channel in accordance with the CSI report periodicity. Another method includes generating a sidelink control information (SCI) message including an indication of a presence or absence of a CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) in a sidelink channel message and transmitting the sidelink control information message. Another method includes receiving a SCI message including an indication of a CSI-RS in a sidelink channel message, and generating and transmitting a CSI report for a data channel based at least in part on the indication.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, devices, and systems for techniques related to wireless communications, and more particularly uplink transmissions on one or more of a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH). Generally, the described techniques support handling collisions between PUSCH repetitions and a PUCCH transmission. A user equipment (UE) may identify that uplink control information (UCI) is scheduled for transmission via an uplink control transmission that overlaps with multiple repetitions of an uplink data transmission. The UE may determine, for each of the multiple repetitions, a quantity of resources available for carrying multiplexed uplink control information, generate encoded UCI by encoding the UCI based on the quantity of resources available in each of the multiple repetitions, and multiplex the encoded UCI on at least a portion of the multiple repetitions based on the quantity of resources available in each of the multiple repetitions.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) having partially coherent antennas may be configured for simultaneous transmissions on groups of antennas To achieve the benefits of simultaneous transmissions using groups of antenna that are partially coherent, without having the transmissions affect each other, the UE may apply a hybrid closed-loop multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scheme among each antenna in the antenna groups where phase coherence can be maintained Following the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, the UE may apply a transparent diversity scheme across each antenna of the groups. Alternatively, the UE may first apply the transparent diversity scheme and next apply the hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme. By applying a hybrid closed-loop MIMO scheme, and a transparent diversity scheme, the UE may fully realize its resources and contribute to an improved spatial diversity for a MIMO system.
