    Abstract: A diving mask with a drain port on the lower front of a nose on the frame body of the mask. A flow guide tube is connected to the drain port and bent toward the lower edge of the nose. The flow guide tube of the drain port is provided with a check drain valve which uses the flow guide action of the flow guide tube to smoothly guide the water and the air blown out by the diver so that it flows to the lower edge of the diving mask without water diffusion. The diving mask also includes a fixing cover to cover the flow guide tube and nose so that the flow guide tube can be stably engaged with the nose.

    Abstract: A device for facilitating the equalization of pressure across the eardrum of a user which typically includes a facemask configured to fit over at least the eyes and nose of the user. The device further includes a strap for securing the facemask to the face of the user. The strap, when secured to the head of the user, defines a single air space which includes ear portions overlying the user's ears and a connecting portion overlying the sides and back of the user's head and connecting the ear portions. Finally, the device includes a tube for supplying air to the air space. One end of the tube is connected to the air space while the other end of the tube is connected to a source of pressurized air, such as the facemask, the air supply controller or the air supply mouthpiece.

    Abstract: A diving face mask comprises a purge valve assembly in a lower central area of a body frame. The purge valve assembly comprises a nose frame projecting from the body frame such that a V-shape cross-section is formed, a laterally elongated, and generally oblong valve which is configured to sit on a valve seat on a front wall of the nose frame for closing a laterally elongated, oblong opening passage. The purge valve assembly further comprises a nose cover having a configuration conforming to that of the nose frame for covering the nose frame, and a discharge opening defined between the nose frame and the nose cover.

    Abstract: Described is a diving helmet which includes a relatively inexpensive adapter unit custom fitted to an individual diver.     Abstract: A diving helmet including a uniquely designed three element structure and associated connecting and releasing means for quick bail-out, when, for example, the helmet's umbilical cord is damaged, tangled, or cut, to permit quick release and removal of the outer hard hat helmet. The system includes an inner dry hood with a facial opening framed with an oval, tongue-in-groove type seal along with a separate rigid protective outer helmet made up of a hat portion or hard casque and a mask portion with goggles, the two helmet portions being hingedly connected together (note FIG. 2). The hood seal is adapted to match and mate with the goggle mask assembly (note FIG. 3) sustaining the umbilical lines, gas regulators, window etc. to form a dry enclosure therebetween. Sealing pressure between the base of the hard casque and the cushion of oval elastomer of the hood fitting inside the mask and goggle assembly is developed by a set of quick latches, one on each side of the hard casque which engages the mask and goggle assembly on the facial mask portion. The quick latch has an eccentric latching groove which simultaneously fits the water tight tongue and groove seal causing the seal between the hood and the mask and goggle assembly. The quick latch has an eccentric knob for quick release of the mask and goggle assembly and the hard casque from sealing engagement with the inner hood, the outer helmet then being easily removed from around the head of the diver by moving the casque about the hinge connection and away from the head (note FIG. 5).
