    Abstract: A method for applying a coating product using the drop on demand technology, wherein the coating product is deposited by a robot applicator including a controller and at least one nozzle with sequential opening, commanded by the controller, the method including moving the nozzle of the robot applicator between a starting point and an arrival point, the projections of which, along the ejection axis of the nozzle, on the surface to be coated, define first and second reference points respectively belonging to two edges of the surface to be coated, in order to deposit a series of drops between the two edges, the spacing between the respective centers of two successive drops being adjusted by the controller as a function of the length of the journey between the two reference points and such that the last drop is deposited in a centered manner on the second reference point.

    Abstract: An applicator and method of use is disclosed for applying coatings and paints to various surfaces. As shown, the sprayer may have an undercarriage frame that supports three-wheels. All three wheels may run parallel with the first wheels and second wheels attached to the sprayer frame via an undercarriage with the third wheel positioned behind and between both the first and second wheels on a separate arm or frame. The width of the sprayer booms may be adjusted. The undercarriage may be folded entirely or only a portion therein. The arm of the third wheel may be folded or telescope, as required by a particular application. A handle, which may be adjustable, may be positioned between the sprayer frame and the undercarriage. Use of the applicator according to the method discussed herein reduces operator fall exposure and increases application efficiency.

    Abstract: Described herein is an atomizer changing system, including a master unit and at least one slave unit, where the master unit has at least the following components: a releasable connecting element, surrounding a center of the master unit, for a nonpositive and positive connection (KS, FS) of the master unit to the slave unit, a coupling plate arranged in the center of the master unit and having a plurality of coupling points for supplying an atomizer that can be connected thereto with substances, energy and/or information, and an adapter for connecting the master unit to a hollow wrist of a coating robot; and where the slave unit has at least the following components: a coupling plate for connecting the slave unit to the master unit and to the atomizer; and a releasable connecting element for connecting the slave unit to the atomizer.

    Abstract: The disclosure concerns an applicator for applying a coating agent (e.g. sealing agent) to a component, in particular for sealing or bonding a flanged seam to the motor vehicle body component. The applicator in accordance with the disclosure first has a nozzle for dispensing the coating agent in a specific jet direction onto a component surface of the component to be coated. In addition, the applicator has a nozzle carrier for positioning the nozzle. The nozzle carrier is hollow on at least part of its length to pass the coating agent. Furthermore, the nozzle carrier comprises a plurality of limbs arranged one behind the other and angled relative to each other. The nozzle is arranged on the nozzle carrier, in particular on the distal limb of the nozzle carrier. The disclosure provides that a spacer, which projects from the distal limb in the jet direction and rests on the component surface of the component to be coated in the coating operation, is mounted externally on the nozzle carrier and thereby sets a predetermined application distance between the nozzle and the component surface.

The spray bottle assembly generally includes a bottle containing an amount of cosmetic composition, a release mechanism having a port associated therewith, an insert with an insert lumen configured to engage the port for communicating the cosmetic composition therethrough, a nozzle for configuring a stream of the cosmetic composition expelled from the spray bottle assembly, a mixing chamber for mixing compressed air with the stream of the cosmetic composition, and a spray aperture for communicating atomized spray. The spray bottle assembly is designed for use with equipment having corresponding release elements for engaging the insert and release mechanism of the bottle.
