Abstract: An illumination system includes first laser light sources, second laser light sources, an optical module, and a light homogenizing element. The first and second laser light sources respectively provide first and second beams. A light spot area formed when the second beams are emitted is different from that formed when the first beams are emitted. The optical module converts the first beams into spot-expanding beams which form a light spot area different from that of the first beams. The light homogenizing element includes a light incident face disposed on transmission paths of the second beams and the spot-expanding beams. A difference between light spot areas formed by the second beams and the spot-expanding beams on the light incident face is less than a difference between light spot areas formed when the second beams and the first beams are emitted. A projection apparatus having the illumination system is further disclosed.

Abstract: A method and system for controlling projection of optical indicators on a worksurface is disclosed. A projection device for projecting a first optical indicator and a second optical indicator onto a worksurface is provided. A measurement system monitors a work area in which the worksurface is disposed. The coherent beam from the first diffuser element is focused on a second position through the second optical module. The second diffuser element is located on a transmission path of the coherent beam from the second optical module, and located at or near the second position. The coherent beam sequentially passes through the first diffuser element, the second optical module and the second diffuser element to form the illumination beam.

Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention is a beam coherence eliminating element. The optical medium material of the element comprises microcrystalline glass, wherein microcrystalline particles therein have a size of 0.1-1000 nm and are distributed randomly. As the crystals in the microcrystalline glass can change the phase of light beams, the microcrystalline glass can change the phase of the light beams randomly, thereby eliminating the coherence of the beams. The crystal size of the microcrystalline glass is small, and thus does not affect the transmission efficiency of light beams. The element of the present invention has a simple structure and is convenient to use, and can be added in the process of beam transmission to easily eliminate beam coherence.

Abstract: A radiation-emitting device includes an optoelectronic component for emitting first electromagnetic radiation. The radiation-emitting device also includes a conversion element having an entrance surface and an exit surface. The light sensing module includes a substrate, a light sensing unit, a first light-transmissive component and a blocking wall. The light sensing unit is disposed on the substrate to sense an intensity of a working light beam. The first light-transmissive component covers the light sensing unit, and has a first refractive index that is between a refractive index of the light sensing unit and a refractive index of air. The blocking wall is disposed on the substrate, and surrounds the light sensing unit and the first light-transmissive component.
