    摘要: An easily openable sealed package bag (P) is disclosed which hermetically seals a material to be packed (W), such as liquid, powder and viscous material, by longitudinally and laterally sealing three or four sides of a package film (F). A seal opening notch (N) comprising a cut is formed in a sealed portion (S) of the package bag (P) in such a way as to extend in a direction of depth of the sealed portion (S). The sealed portion (S) is also formed with a bent portion (B) adjacent to the seal opening notch (N). The easily openable sealed package bag is capable of enhancing the ease with which the package bag can be opened and the ease with which a seal opening portion can be identified by sight or by touch, without producing cut chips of the package bag. An apparatus for manufacturing such easily openable sealed package bags is also provided.

    摘要: A perforating apparatus for use in the formation of shrink film packages is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a bottom seal tool with a plurality of peninsula regions forming a plurality of window areas. Each pair of window areas has a knife receiving area to receive a knife retaining block. The retaining block contains a perforation knife that extends beyond the surface of the sealing tool a sufficient distance to perforate the packages. At least one screw member extends through the peninsula, contacting the retaining block and securing the retaining block within the retaining channel. A change plate, having slots dimensioned and located to receive the knife blades is placed over the sealing tool surface. The packages are placed on the change plate and sealed by contacting the package with the upper platen. The upper platen is provided with a nonconductive material positioned to receive the knife blade. The resulting package has a perforation through the paperboard extending from one edge to the plastic window. This perforation enables the package to be easily opened.

At first, a lid unit part including a pick-up port enabling pop-up of a wet tissue and a lid body capable of sealing the pick-up port is prepared. An air-tight film is continuously supplied, and an opening portion is formed in the film by punching. Then, the lid unit part is placed on the film with the opening portion, and a peripheral portion of a base member of the lid unit part is joined with a peripheral edge portion of the opening portion. Thereafter, a wet tissue stacked body is placed on the film with the lid unit part and is wrapped by the film. Center lap portions of the film are joined to each other while respective end lap portions formed at both end sides are joined to each other to thereby form a packet. A boundary portion between the adjacent two packets is cut for separating the packets from each other.

    摘要: A machine for automatically filling plastic bags with liquid or particulate material moves a continuous web of such bags through a number of serially positioned work stations. The bags are completely sealed when they enter the machine. As each bag passes through a slitting work station, a specially shaped opening is cut into the bag near an end of it which will become its top. When the bag proceeds to a filling work station, it is held vertically and a specially shaped fill nozzle is moved downward and rotated for entry into the bag through the slit opening. A valve is provided within the fill nozzle for controlling entry of the material into the bag. The valve and fill nozzle are cooperatively controlled by a single mechanism. The bags are transported through the various work stations by a positive toothed belt drive that preferably holds the bags flat until the filling station, wherein the belts are then moveable toward and away from each other in order to allow filling of the bag. After filling, the bag opening is then sealed. The various techniques are especially useful for aseptic packaging of foods, such as milk and wine. Fitments for later use in removing material can also be added to the bag in another work station. The bags and fitments are structured and carried in a way to cooperate with the machine.

    摘要: A resealable hermetically sealed package for food products has the product contained between two sheets of thermoplastic material which are sealed together by a permanent heat fused seal about the product except for one edge along which the sheets are adhesively glued together by an easily peeled resealable seal. The process for manufacturing the product forms the adhesive seal prior to the permanent seals in an area remote from that in which evacuation and the final seal occurs. Thus, the final sealing and evacuation of the package is performed in the absence of adhesive so that no adhesive can be drawn into evacuation slots so as to economically produce the product.
