Abstract: A touch sensor including a substrate including an active area and a non-active area, a plurality of first electrodes extending in first direction on the active area, a plurality of second electrodes extending in a second direction crossing the first direction on the active area, a plurality of third electrodes including electrode portions disposed in the first electrodes, respectively, being separated from the first electrodes, and extending in the first direction on the active area, and a sensing circuit including a plurality of signal receivers receiving sensing signals from the first electrodes, respectively, in which each of the signal receivers includes first and second input terminals connected to a pair of first and third electrodes corresponding to each other, respectively, and outputs a signal corresponding to a voltage difference between the first and second input terminals.

Abstract: A display device includes a display unit having pixels, a touch sensing unit including touch electrodes disposed on the display unit, and a touch driver configured to supply a touch driving signal to the plurality of touch electrodes and receive a touch sensing signal from the touch electrodes. The touch driver supplies a first touch driving signal having a first phase to one or more first touch electrodes, and supplies a second touch driving signal having a second phase opposite to the first phase to one or more second touch electrodes, at least a part of which is disposed across a specific point from the first touch electrodes. The touch driver receives a first touch sensing signal having the first phase from at least one of the first touch electrodes, and receives a second touch sensing signal having the second phase from at least one of the second touch electrodes.

Abstract: A touch sensor includes a base layer; a first electrode member that includes a plurality of first electrodes arranged on the base layer and electrically connected to each other along a first direction, each of the first electrodes including a first opening; a second electrode member that includes a plurality of second electrodes arranged on the base layer and electrically connected to each other along a second direction that intersects the first direction; a conductive member that includes a plurality of conductive patterns electrically connected to each other along the first direction; and a proximity detector that is electrically connected to the conductive member and configured to detect proximity of an object by receiving a proximity sensing signal from the conductive member. Each of the conductive patterns is located in the first opening of each of the first electrodes and spaced apart from each of the first electrodes, respectively.
