Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for power control in FD systems based on a PL-RS for measuring self-interference. In aspects, a base station may configure a PL-RS for one or more beam pairs and schedule a DL transmission including the PL-RS. A UE may measure self-interference corresponding to the one or more beam pairs based on the PL-RS and adjust an UL Tx power for a FD operation based on the self-interference measured for the one or more beam pairs. The UE may subsequently transmit an UL transmission for the FD operation based on the adjustment to the UL Tx power, such that the base station may receive an UL transmission having an UL Tx power that is based on the measured self-interference associated with the PL-RS.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication by a base station detects a UE is in a high speed train scenario. The method also instructs the UE to enter a high speed train (HST) mode when the UE is detected to be in the high speed train scenario. The method further performs beam management in accordance with the HST mode. A UE (user equipment) for wireless communication detects when the UE is in high speed train scenario. The UE also reports the high speed train scenario to a base station and then receives instructions from the base station to enter a high speed train (HST) mode. The UE performs beam management in accordance with the HST mode.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to techniques for set based beam reporting. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of one or more sets of candidate beams, where each set of candidate beams includes a first beam combination and a second beam combination. The first beam combination may include a first beam as a channel measurement resource (CMR) and a second beam as an interference measurement resource (IMR), and the second beam combination may include the second beam as a CMR and the first beam as an IMR. The UE may determine measurement values for beam combinations in the sets and determine a candidate set to report based at least in part on the measurement values. The UE may transmit a measurement report with measurement values for the first and second beam combinations of the candidate set.
