Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for closed-loop precoding for multiple-input multiple-output for transmitter circle arrays, for example uniform circular array panels. In some aspects, a base station including a transmitter circle array may steer a beam to a user equipment (UE) using codebooks, quantization rules, and feedback from the user equipment. In some aspects, the same transmitter circle array may be used for both backhaul communications with a device at a fixed location, for example using beams formed via discrete Fourier transform (DFT) vectors, and access communications with a UE via non-DFT beams coded using closed-loop precoding.

Abstract: A sensing node may receive a set of sensing signals. The sensing node may calculate a first joint spectrum based on a first windowing function and the set of sensing signals. The sensing node may calculate a second joint spectrum based on a second windowing function and the set of sensing signals, wherein the first windowing function is different than the second windowing function. The sensing node may transmit a first joint spectrum report based on the first joint spectrum and a second joint spectrum report based on the second joint spectrum to a sensing entity. The sensing node may estimate a parameter of a target object based on an optimal spectrum ID received from the sensing entity, where the optimal spectrum ID may be associated with at least one of the first joint spectrum or the second joint spectrum.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device (e.g., a base station) may transmit reference signals to a second device (e.g., a user equipment (UE)) via transmitter antenna circles. The second device may receive and measure the reference signals via corresponding receiver antenna circles. Both the transmitter antenna circles and the in receiver antenna circles may include a center antenna circle and one or more peripheral antenna circles. The second device may transmit channel gain measurements to the first device based on measuring the reference signals. The first device may determine orbital angular momentum (OAM) modes, a power loading scheme, or both for the transmitter antenna circles based on the channel gain measurements. The first device may transmit OAM transmissions to the second device based on the determined OAM modes, the power loading scheme, or both. The OAM transmissions may have different OAM states, polarizations, or both.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enhance the navigation function of navigation/map applications or systems when GNSS signals are weak or sporadic. In one aspect, a UE monitors a position of the UE based on GNSS communication, where the position of the UE is monitored using at least one first map layer of a plurality of map layers associated with a map. The UE detects that the position of the UE corresponds to a predefined location when the GNSS communication is below a communication threshold. The UE switches to monitoring the position of the UE using at least one second map layer of the plurality of map layers upon detecting that the position of the UE corresponds to the predefined location, where the at least one second map layer is associated with the predefined location.

Additionally, the apparatus may measure inter-cell interference associated with the one or more time and frequency resources of at least one neighboring base station. The apparatus may also transmit, to the first base station, a report of the inter-cell interference measurement of the at least one neighboring base station.
