Abstract:
A communication method and apparatus, to help improve efficiency of identifying a fake base station. The method includes: A terminal device receives configuration information sent by a network device, and then simultaneously measures, based on the configuration information, a channel state information-reference signal CSI-RS and a synchronization signal block SSB that are sent by a cell. When determining that a measurement result of the CSI-RS and a measurement result of the SSB of the cell satisfy a preset condition, the terminal device reports a measurement report to the network device, where the measurement report includes identification information of the cell, so that the network device identifies a fake base station.
Abstract:
A method for sending system information comprises: a terminal receives a broadcast message from a network device, wherein the broadcast message comprises indication information for an system information (SI) and wherein that the indication information is for indicating that whether the SI is being broadcasted or not; and in case that the indication information indicates that the SI is not being broadcasted, the terminal sends a system information request to the network device for acquiring the SI.
Abstract:
Example paging message sending method and apparatus are described to notify each UE of a paging cause. In one example method, a first network node sends a paging message to a second network node. The paging message carries indication information, which is used to indicate a paging cause.
Abstract:
One example communication method includes a distributed unit (DU) receives a first indicator from a central unit (CU), where the first indicator is used to indicate that first system information is to be broadcast by the DU, the first system information is obtained by the DU from the CU and stored at the DU previously. The DU broadcasts a second indicator and the first system information, where the second indicator indicates that the first system information is being broadcast.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a communications method, device, and system. The method includes: monitoring whether a terminal on a macro network has a service requirement on a micro network, where the micro network is in the coverage area of the macro network, and all common physical channels or some common physical channels except a pilot channel on the micro network are in a disabled state; and if the terminal has a service requirement on the micro network, sending a network handover instruction that includes configuration information of the micro network to the terminal, where the network handover instruction is used to instruct the terminal to hand over from the macro network to the micro network. In the embodiments of the present invention, power consumption of a capacity station is reduced, and unnecessary power waste is reduced.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and a base station for managing capacity of a wireless communication network, which relates to the field of wireless communications and is capable of saving energy while adjusting capacity of a wireless communication network of a base station. The present invention includes: checking total traffic of all overlay networks belonging to the base station; if the checked total traffic keeps being lesser than a preset load threshold, searching for and determining a first overlay network; maintaining normal work of a power amplifier of at least one antenna in each group of antennas in the first overlay network and turning off power amplifiers of one or more other antennas; and connecting the one or more other antennas to the power amplifiers maintaining normal work in the groups in which the one or more other antennas are located.
Abstract:
A communication method includes, in response to determining a terminal device fails to perform a handover to a first cell, establishing a communication connection to a second cell managed by an access network device. The communication method also includes sending a report to the access network device. The report indicates that the terminal device fails to perform the handover to the first cell, and the report includes indication information that indicates the handover of the terminal device to the first cell is triggered by a service or by signal coverage quality.
Abstract:
An information recording method, a communication apparatus, and a computer storage medium. A terminal hands over from a source cell of a source access network device to a target cell of a target access network device. The terminal records a first report and a second report, where the first report and the second report separately include identification information of the terminal in the target cell. The first report further includes potential handover failure information in a process in which the terminal hands over from the source cell of the source access network device to the target cell of the target access network device. The second report further includes related information in a process in which the terminal performs random access to the target cell.
Abstract:
The technology of this application relates to an energy saving method and an apparatus. The method includes an AI device receives first data from a first network device and a second network device; the AI device performs an AI inference based on the first data to obtain an energy saving policy, and the AI device separately sends the energy saving policy to the first network device and the second network device. According to the method and the apparatus in embodiments of this application, accuracy and robustness of the energy saving policy can be improved, and in a scenario in which network traffic fluctuates, a quantity of times of frequently switching on or switching off a cell of the second network device can be reduced.
Abstract:
A mobility load balancing method and apparatus are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining first network status information of a first network device; obtaining information indicating a network status of a second network device; obtaining a to-be-effective first mobility load balancing MLB policy based on the first network status information and the information indicating a network status of the second network device; and sending the first MLB policy to the second network device. The first MLB policy includes at least one of the following content: a configuration parameter used to adjust a load of the first network device and time information corresponding to the configuration parameter, a configuration parameter used to adjust a load of the second network device and time information corresponding to the configuration parameter, or reliability information of the first MLB policy.
