    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a data transmission method and a communication apparatus. The method includes: determining an aggregated physical layer protocol data unit A-PPDU, where the A-PPDU includes at least two PPDUs belonging to different protocols, the A-PPDU includes a first sequence, the first sequence includes N segments of subsequences, any of the N segments of subsequences is obtained by performing phase rotation on a high efficiency-long training field HE LTF sequence and/or an extreme high throughput-long training field EHT LTF sequence based on a phase rotation parameter corresponding to the HE LTF sequence and/or a phase rotation parameter corresponding to the EHT LTF sequence, N phase rotation parameters corresponding to the N segments of subsequences include at least one phase rotation parameter whose value is −1, and N is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; and sending the A-PPDU.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide a communication method and device, a storage medium, and a program product. According to the communication method of this disclosure, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) is transmitted or received based on a tone plan of a first bandwidth. The tone plan includes a physical resource unit (PRU), and the PRU includes discrete subcarriers. According to embodiments of this disclosure, an original nominal RU is processed to obtain a PRU including discrete subcarriers. Discretized subcarriers of the PRU may be evenly distributed on a larger bandwidth without changing subcarrier division of the original nominal RU. When it is ensured that a large PAPR is not generated in data transmission due to discrete subcarriers, a transmit end can perform communication at a high transmit power.

    Abstract: A negotiation method for an operating mode, an initiator, a receiver, a chip system, a computer-readable storage medium, and a functional entity are disclosed. In operating mode (OM) negotiation, the initiator transmits an operating mode indication (OMI) to the responder. The OMI includes at least either of channel width indication information and space-time stream number indication information. A capability range of a channel width indicated by the channel width indication information is greater than 160 MHz. A capability range of the number of space-time streams indicated by the space-time stream number indication information is greater than 8. After receiving the OMI, the responder performs transmission with the initiator based on a negotiated OM.
