Abstract: Out-of-link channel sounding using an out-of-band channel sounding link for multi-link devices (MLDs) in a wireless network may be provided. An Access Point (AP) may establish a first Wireless Communication Link (WCL) with a Multi-link Device (MLD). The AP may also establish a second WCL with the MLD. After establishing the first WCL, the AP may transmit a sounding trigger to the MLD on the first WCL. After transmission of the sounding trigger to the MLD on the first WCL, AP may transmit a Channel State Information (CSI) inquiry to the MLD on the second WCL. AP may receive a channel state quantification from the MLD on the second WCL in response to the CSI inquiry.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes identifying a number of configured proactive repetitions in downlink transmissions from the base station, selecting k antenna states for receiving repetitive downlink transmissions among the number of antenna states, where k equals the number of configured proactive repetitions, and where each of the k antenna states corresponds to each of the repetitive downlink transmissions, transmitting a CSI report for each of the k antenna states to the base station, where a CSI report for an antenna state is used by the base station to adjust configurations for the corresponding downlink transmission, receiving signals for each of the k repetitive downlink transmissions from the base station using each of the k antenna states, and decoding the downlink transmission based on k sets of received signals, each of the k sets being received using each of the k selected antenna states.

Abstract: Described herein are devices, systems, methods, and processes for managing the computational complexity in geolocating a large number of network devices (e.g., access points (APs)) in indoor environments. A number of network devices may be partitioned into smaller groups or batches based on neighbor knowledge about the network devices. Each batch of network devices can include just devices located on a same floor, or may include devices located across different floors. Every batch may include at least one anchor network device. The geolocation of the network devices can be determined, batch-by-batch, based on fusing global navigation satellite system (GNSS) pseudorange measurements and inter-network device ranging measurements. The geolocation accuracy for each partition can be evaluated utilizing such metrics as the average residual error. If the error for a batch is greater than a threshold, remedial measures may be taken to reduce the error and improve the geolocation accuracy.

Abstract: Devices, systems, methods, and processes for accurately determining a location of a device are described herein. The device may receive Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data from two satellites in two time periods. The device can determine two pseudo range differences corresponding to the two satellites. The device may further determine two contours based on the two pseudo range differences. An overlap between the two contours may be utilized by the device to determine the location. The device can also determine the location of the device based on a contour and an estimated location. The device may utilize a Global Positioning System (GPS) database, an Access Points (AP) database, or one or more servers to retrieve the estimated location. The device can further configure an operating frequency and an output power based on the location in real-time.

Abstract: Physical Layer Protocol Data Units (PPDUs) with an extension and specifically PPDUs with an extension for Ambient Power (AMP) Backscatter Device (BKD) excitation may be provided. A PPDU with an AMP BKD excitation extension can include an AMP BKD excitation extension field indicating the version and duration of the AMP BKD excitation extension. A method for providing the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension includes generating the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension and the AMP BKD excitation extension field and transmitting the PPDU with the AMP BKD excitation extension.
