Abstract: The present disclosure relates to music user interfaces. A device, comprising a display and a rotatable input mechanism, one or more processors, memory, and one or more programs, is described. In response to receiving the first user input, the one or more programs may include instructions for ceasing display of an audio playback user interface and displaying a first user interface of a first set of user interfaces. While displaying the user interface of the first set of user interfaces, the one or more pogroms programs may include instructions for: receiving a second user input representing a directional swipe in a second direction and, in response to receiving the second user input, ceasing display of the first user interface of a first set of user interfaces and displaying the audio playback user interface.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for automatically generating an appointment for an electronic calendar. The method receives input to create a new appointment for the calendar. The method analyzes several previous appointments stored for the first calendar. Based on the analysis, the method automatically proposes a new appointment that has at least one appointment characteristic shared with at least one past appointment stored for the calendar. In some embodiments, the method receives text input describing a characteristic of the new appointment, and searches through the previous appointments using the text input.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems and processes for monitoring a workout and for generating improved interfaces for the same. One example user interface detects when a workout of a particular type is started and begins generating activity data related to workout metrics associated with the type of workout selected. Using determined current values for the workout metrics, the example user interface displays a pro-view display that includes indicators for the workout metrics associated with the selected workout type. The pro-view display also includes a focus indicator that highlights a selected indicator representative of a focused workout metric. The focus indicator is movable among the indicators representative of the workout metrics based on user input. Upon detection of a gesture, the example user interface transitions to a simple-view display that includes an indicator representative of the focused workout metric. The simple-view display includes indicators for less than all of the workout metrics associated with the selected workout type. The example user interface receives input to change the focused workout metric in the simple-view display. The example user interface also receives a gesture to transition the simple-view display back to the pro-view display.

Abstract: An electronic device displays at least one device initialization screen. After displaying the at least one device initialization screen, the electronic device displays an instruction screen instructing a user to pair the external device with the electronic device. The electronic device sends first data via wireless communication, displays a pattern comprising identifying information of the electronic device, and receives second data indicating that the external device and the electronic device have been paired using the first data. After receiving the second data, the electronic device provides an aural or haptic indication that the electronic device and the external device have been paired. In some examples, the electronic device is a wearable electronic device and the external device is a smartphone. Pairing the electronic device and the external device may allow the devices to exchange information and operate interactively with one another.
