Abstract:
Context-specific user interfaces for use with a portable multifunction device are disclosed. The methods described herein for context-specific user interfaces provide indications of time and, optionally, a variety of additional information. Further disclosed are non-transitory computer-readable storage media, systems, and devices configured to perform the methods described herein.
Abstract:
User interface navigation on a personal electronics device based on movements of a crown is disclosed. The device can select an appropriate level of information arranged along a z-axis for display based on crown movement. The navigation can be based on an angular velocity of the crown.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to electronic message user interfaces. A device, including a display, a touch-sensitive surface, and a rotatable input mechanism, is described in relation to accessing, composing, and manipulating electronic messages. In some examples, a user can provide input through the rotatable input mechanism to access a landing screen of an electronic messages application. The landing screen concurrently displays an affordance for accessing an electronic messages inbox and an affordance for accessing an interface for composing electronic message.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to devices and processes for monitoring attributes of a user's physical activity (e.g., workout) or inactivity, and to user interfaces (e.g., an activity indicator) for displaying the same. In some examples, a device determines whether physical activity corresponds to a first type based on a first set of criteria, and whether physical activity corresponds to a second type based on a second set of criteria. In some examples, the device controls an inactivity timer that measures user's inactivity. In some examples, the device displays a first visual representation of an attribute or amount of a first type of physical activity, and a second visual representation of an attribute or amount of a second type. In some examples, the device displays a third visual representation of an attribute or amount of a third type of activity. In some examples, the third visual representation corresponds to user's inactivity.

Abstract:
An electronic device having a user-interface locked state and a user-interface unlocked state may be in the locked state. The locked electronic device may detect, via wireless communication, an external device; receive, from the external device, unlocking information for unlocking the electronic device. The locked electronic device may determine whether the external device is authorized to facilitate its unlocking. The locked electronic device may detect user input. In response to the user input, the received unlocking information, and/or a determination that the external device is authorized, the locked electronic device may unlock and enter a normal operating state wherein application programs may be launched and used.

Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to user interfaces for manipulating user interface objects. A device, including a display and a rotatable input mechanism, is described in relation to manipulating user interface objects. In some examples, the manipulation of the object is a scroll, zoom, or rotate of the object. In other examples, objects are selected in accordance with simulated magnetic properties.
Abstract:
An electronic device invokes a pairing mode for pairing the electronic device with an external device, displays an indication of a movement of the external device that meets respective criteria, detects that the external device has moved so that it meets the respective criteria, and initiates a process for registering the external device as a paired device in response to detecting that the external device ahs moved so that it meets the respective criteria.
Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for managing input mechanisms. In some examples, the electronic device transitions from a first mode into a second mode in accordance with a determination that the one or more characteristics of a user input detected via a second input mechanism of the electronic device meet a set of predefined criteria. In the first mode, a first input mechanism of the electronic device is restricted for user input. In the second mode, the first input mechanism of the electronic device is unrestricted for user input.
