Abstract: A handle for a hand-held or operated object or appliance comprises a main body (4) of a rigid material and a separate moulding insert (14) which can be fitted on the main body and having a raised pattern or shape (“HO”) including at least one element thereon of closed form, the insert (14) defining therein or defining with the main body a bore or bores (18, 24) which communicate with the interior of the element of closed form, through which a soft plastics material such as an elastomer being overmoulded on the handle can flow.
