    Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for UE signaling a network regarding customized ringing signal (CRS) capability and use of such information by the network. Various embodiments may receiving from the network an INVITE message notifying the UE of an incoming call, determining whether the INVITE message indicates that the network provides CRS service if the UE supports a CRS function, and including an indication in a response to the INVITE that the UE supports the CRS function in response to determining that the INVITE message includes an alert information header field indicating that the network provides CRS service. Various embodiments include a network computing device receiving such information and performing negotiations for CRS service with the UE only if the UE indicates CRS functional capability.

In some examples, a first HARQ feedback granularity may be for transmitting HARQ feedback in a first quantity of symbols and a second HARQ feedback granularity may be for transmitting HARQ feedback in a second quantity of symbols. The base station may send an indication to the UE that specifies which HARQ feedback granularity the UE is to use for sending HARQ feedback.

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide generation of a set of orthogonal sequences for transmission of a signal including a payload using an orthogonal base sequence in a time domain. In one example, the orthogonal base sequence in the time domain may be a pi over 2 (pi/2) binary phase shift keying (BPSK) sequence in the time domain, such as prior to transform precoding for transmission. Some techniques and apparatuses described herein provide for the set of orthogonal sequences to be generated such that the set of orthogonal sequences are orthogonal within a symbol (e.g., an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbol) by applying an intra-symbol orthogonal cover code (OCC). Applying the intra-symbol OCC provides intra-symbol orthogonality. Thus, a peak to average power ratio of a user equipment is reduced for uplink transmissions and intra-symbol orthogonality is preserved

    Abstract: Some techniques and apparatuses described herein enable a base station to configure a CSI-RS resource set with one or more parameters that are linked to one or more parameters of least one of a message that triggers CSI-RS monitoring, a physical channel associated with the CSI-RS monitoring, or an uplink reference signal associated with the CSI-RS monitoring. This allows the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set to be dynamically set and/or adjusted based at least in part on the one or more parameters to which the one or more parameters of the CSI-RS resource set are linked. As a result, scheduling flexibility for beam management, downlink communications, and/or uplink communications may be increased. This may reduce delays and increase network speed, reliability, and/or beam management efficiency. Numerous other aspects are provided.
