Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A first wireless communications device may receive, from a second wireless communications device, a signal that is indicative of a phase-change pattern applied to communications between the first wireless communications device and the second wireless communication device by a reconfigurable intelligent surface reflecting the communications. The first device may determine the phase-change pattern from the signal. The first device may transmit a message to the second wireless communications device, wherein at least one of a content or a transmission property of the message is based at least in part on the phase-change pattern.

Abstract: Techniques for supplementary sidelink resource configuration in full duplex mode may include a first user equipment (UE) transmitting to a base station an interference report indicating sidelink communication interference. The base station may select a resource pool according to the interference report, where the resource pool includes supplementary sidelink subchannels reserved for receiving sidelink communications and conditionally reserved for transmitting sidelink communications based on the interference report. The base station may transmit, to the first UE or a second UE causing the sidelink communication interference, configuration information indicating the resource pool. Based on the configuration information, the first UE and/or the second UE may perform sidelink communications (with each other or with other UEs) using the supplementary sidelink sub channels.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration identifying a first set of frequency resources for transmitting a sounding reference signal, where the sounding reference signal may be used at least for downlink channel state information acquisition. The UE may receive an indication of an association between the configuration for the sounding reference signal and a second set of frequency resources and determine, based on the association, values for one or more sounding reference signal transmission parameters for the first set of frequency resources. The UE may transmit the sounding reference signal on the first set of frequency resources based on the determined one or more values.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives a first channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) on a first set of beams and receives a second CSI-RS on a second set of beams. The apparatus determines a channel quality indicator (CQI), a rank indicator (RI), and a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on the first CSI-RS. The apparatus reports the CQI and RI using an uplink control channel and indicates the PMI using a precoded SRS transmission. The precoded SRS transmission may be precoded based on a dissimilarity between the first CSI-RS and the second CSI-RS. The first CSI-RS may include a defined precoder, and the second CSI-RS may include a precoder based on an uplink channel estimate of a non-precoded SRS from the UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, control signaling identifying a configuration of a set of time intervals for communication with the base station, the set of time intervals including a subset of the time intervals for which the UE is to perform a physical layer security procedure. In some cases, the UE may activate a timer associated with performing the physical layer security procedure in response to a trigger. The UE and the base station may communicate one or more messages using the physical layer security procedure, for example, in the subset of the time intervals identified by the control signaling, while the timer is active, or both. Abstract: Certain aspects relate to techniques for z-axis rotation estimation for compensating signaling transmitted between two or more nodes over a wireless channel where an antenna array of at least one of the nodes is misaligned about the z-axis relative to another node. For example, a transmitting node may transmit pilot signals defined by phase shifts to provide a receiving node with a basis for estimating the angle of rotation by which the antenna arrays are misaligned. The transmitting node may then take remedial action to address the misalignment based on the estimation.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is transmits capability signaling information to a base station. The capability signaling information may be associated with a capability of the UE to maintain coherence and bundle demodulation reference signals (DM-RS) when a transmission is interrupted. The base station may receive a transmission from the UE having dropped symbols, may determine if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence over the dropped signals, and may utilize bundled DM-RS to decode the transmission if the capability signaling information indicates that the UE maintained coherence.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a base station may configure a user equipment (UE) with a low latency mode indication that indicates one or more different retransmission timelines or repetition techniques relative to communications that are not associated with the low latency mode indication. The base station may provide the low latency mode indication in downlink control information (DCI) that may include a resource grant for uplink resources for an uplink communication, such as for a UE transmission of pose information of an extended reality (XR) application. The low latency mode indication may signal that no retransmissions of the uplink communication are to be transmitted, that a different retransmission timeline is enabled for low latency mode communications, that retransmissions may happen based on a particular timeline that is determined according to one or more timers, or any combinations thereof.
