Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may determine a plurality of measurement gap (MG) configurations, each MG configuration defining one or more MGs. The UE may send, to a serving base station, a request to use a first MG configuration from the plurality of MG configurations, and may receive a response to the first request. The UE then measures positioning signals using an MG configuration indicated by the response. Based on measurements of the first set of positioning signals, the UE may select a second MG configuration, send a second request to use the second MG configuration, and receive a response to the second request. The UE then measures a second set of positioning signals using an MG configuration indicated by the response to the second request.

Abstract: A configuration of cross-carrier channel state information (CSI) reporting is disclosed. A user equipment (UE) may be configured for CSI reporting, which includes multiple trigger states, in which some of these trigger states include at least one carrier indicator identifying at least one component carrier (CC) for CSI measurement. Upon receipt of a downlink control information (DCI) message including identification of one of the trigger states, the UE identifies at least one CSI report configuration which may be identified with an associated CC and identification of at least one CSI resource setting identified with the CC for each of the CSI report configurations. The UE may then perform CSI measurement for the identified CC based on the CSI report configuration and resource setting. The UE may then signal the CSI report, including the CSI measurement, to a serving base station.

The UE may determine one or more properties associated with the positioning reference signal based on the configuration signal. The UE may determine an accuracy level associated with one or more timing measurements based on the one or more properties associated with the positioning reference signal, and transmit a measurement report associated with the positioning reference signal to a base station. In some examples, the measurement report may be related to the accuracy level associated with the one or more timing measurements.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, via a first component carrier, control information that triggers transmission of an aperiodic reference signal in a second component carrier. The UE may identify a quasi co-location (QCL) assumption for reception of the aperiodic reference signal in the second component carrier based at least in part on a control resource set not being configured for the second component carrier. The UE may then monitor for the aperiodic reference signal of the second component carrier based on the QCL assumption. In some cases, the UE may transmit a measurement report to a base station based on a measurement of the reference signal.

Abstract: A UE receives DCI in a PDCCH, the DCI triggers reception of AP CSI-RS, and the PDCCH has a first numerology and the AP CSI-RS has a second numerology. The UE determines, when a CORESET is configured on an active BWP of a serving cell for receiving the AP CSI-RS and when the first numerology is the same as the second numerology, a default AP CSI-RS beam for receiving the AP CSI-RS based on a beam used for receiving the CORESET with a lowest ID in a latest monitored slot of the active BWP of the serving cell. The UE determines, otherwise when the first numerology is the same as the second numerology, the default AP CSI-RS beam for receiving the AP CSI-RS based on a QCL assumption of a PDSCH TCI state with a lowest ID on the active BWP of the serving cell for receiving the AP CSI-RS.
