摘要： A plug connector includes a metal shell, an insulating body retained in the metal shell and having a mating portion, multiple terminals, and at least one grounding elastic piece. The mating portion is recessed from front to back to form a mating slot. The terminals include contacting portions arranged in a row on upper and lower opposite sides of the mating slot. The terminals include at least one ground terminal formed by blanking a sheet metal. The plate surface of the ground terminal is arranged vertically. The grounding elastic piece is formed by blanking a sheet metal. The plate surface of the grounding elastic piece is arranged in parallel to the plate surface of the ground terminal, and the two are connected electrically to each other. A conducting portion is formed on the cutting surface of the grounding elastic piece, and in contact with the metal shell.

摘要： A receptacle connector assembly includes a contact module having signal contacts and ground contacts and a housing having a front shell and a rear shell coupled to the front shell. 摘要： A connector assembly having a connector housing with a terminal receiving area. The terminal receiving area is spaced from outside walls of the connector housing and has a secondary lock receiving recess and terminal receiving cavities. A secondary lock member is slidably received in the secondary lock receiving recess for movement between a first position and a second position. The secondary lock member cooperates with terminals positioned in the terminal receiving cavities when the secondary lock member is in the second position. The secondary lock member has a resilient positioning member extending from a first wall of the secondary lock member in a direction away from the terminal receiving area. The resilient positioning member is configured to engage a mating component and compress when the mating component is inserted into the connector housing.

摘要： A floating connector includes an inserting chamber and a plurality of conductive terminals. The inserting chamber includes two opposite side walls each having a plurality of fixing portions. The conductive terminals are respectively fastened to the fixing portions of the inserting chamber. Each conductive terminal includes a contact segment, a curved segment, an elastic segment, and a fixing segment. The contact segment is arranged in the inserting chamber. A first end of the curved segment is connected to the contact segment, and an opposite second end of the curved segment is fixed to the corresponding fixing portion. Two opposite ends of the elastic segment are respectively connected to the second end of the curved segment and the fixing segment. The inserting chamber is movable relative to the fixing segments, and the elastic segments can provide an elastic force to the inserting chamber by being pressed.

Some terminals may include a terminal support projection that engages the housing to maintain the position of a contact section of the terminals relative to the housing. Other terminals may have a tool engaging shoulder configured to be engaged by a tool to force press-fit tails of all of the terminals into a circuit member. The housing may include a locking structure for certain the terminals that permits the terminals to be inserted into the housing with little or no force and then securely lock the terminals in the housing. One or more ground plates may be included for electrically connecting a plurality of the terminals. The ground plates may have resilient tabs that contact at least some of the terminals and the tabs may be thinner than a body portion of the ground plate.
