    Abstract: A toy dart includes a deformable cap that safely impacts a target. The cap includes two layers of substantially parallel hollow passages that provide spaces that allow the cap to deform. The lower layer, having two hollow passages, is supported by exterior posts and an interior wall between the two hollow passages. The upper layer, having three hollow passages, is supported by exterior posts and interior walls that are laterally offset from the interior wall of the lower layer. The upper and lower layers are separated vertically by a substantially flat divider. Due to the difference in the number of hollow passages and interior walls in each layer, the upper layer is more rigid than the lower layer such that the lower layer of the cap deforms more than the upper layer of the cap upon initial impact with the target.

    Abstract: A gaming system comprised of an elongated projectile and a target for said projectile to be projected into. The system includes a projectile and a target. The projectile has a head, an elongated shaft coupled to the head, and a tail coupled to a rear end of the shaft. The tail has a mechanical adapter for coupling the projectile to a projecting device. The head has a shock absorber coupled to a penetration prevention device. The head prevents the projectile from penetrating into a target. The target has at least one aperture located on the external surface of the target and an immobilizer for immobilizing a projectile which has entered the aperture.

    Abstract: A mechanical broadhead, which has blades movable from a retracted mode to a deployed mode, is provided with ball and socket members that hold the blades in the retracted mode, and selectively release the blades to the deployed mode. The ball and socket members, which can be on the blades and/or on a retainer element, can be snapped together to provide an audible snap confirming locking of the blades in the retracted mode. The mechanical broadhead can include first and second ferrule portions removably joined with one another. The second ferrule portion can acquire a blocking mode to block a removal opening of a ferrule slot defined in the first ferrule portion so that blade cannot be removed from respective ferrule slots. The second ferrule portion can achieve a removal mode so that the blades can be removed from the slots.

    Abstract: A projectile tracking with stop device is disclosed. An example projectile tracking with stop device includes an outer sleeve and an inner shaft, the outer sleeve having an interior chamber assembled over an exterior portion of the inner shaft, the outer sleeve and the inner shaft assembled for connecting to a projectile. The example projectile tracking with stop device also includes at least one stop-blade attached on a pin in the inner shaft. The at least one stop-blade folds into the inner shaft when the outer sleeve is in a closed position. The at least one stop-blade expands out beyond an outer circumference of the outer sleeve when the outer sleeve moves to an open position. In an example, the projectile tracking with stop device also includes a microchip positioned at least partly in a chamber of the inner shaft. The microchip emits a tracking signal for locating the projectile.

    Abstract: A non-lethal arrow that includes a shaft having a non-lethal arrow assembly on a respective end of the shaft. A nock is connected to an opposite end of the shaft. A plurality of vanes is connected to the shaft near the nock. A marker can be attached to an end of the non-lethal arrow assembly that is configured to stick to a target upon impact with the target. The marker is further configured such that the non-lethal arrow disengages from the marker, and falls away from the target upon impact with the target leaving only the marker left on the target.
