    Abstract: An assembly for use as a net-launching projectile is disclosed. The assembly comprises a housing storing a net in a packed configuration and configured such that a rotation of the assembly causes the net to be ejected from the housing, thereby unpacking the net into an expanded configuration. The assembly also comprises a plurality of circumferentially disposed protrusions or ridges for engaging with corresponding rifling in a barrel to induce the rotation of the assembly when launched. Also disclosed is a net-launching system and a method of capturing an aerial target.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a projectile device and a method of manufacture of a projectile device and in particular, to a pistol bullet and a rifle bullet and method of manufacture of same. In one embodiment, the projectile apparatus has a cylindrical body portion having a diameter, a front nose section tapering from a most proximal point of the projectile to the cylindrical body portion, and a rear tail section connected to the body portion and extending to the most distal point of the projectile, in which the front nose portion comprises a plurality of twisting depressions forming troughs.

    Abstract: A guided projectile having a nose portion, a body portion, a tail portion, and a central axis. In various embodiments the projectile includes a control support portion and a collar assembly pivotally mounted to the control support portion. In various embodiments the collar assembly includes a collar having an exterior sidewall with a plurality of fixed aerodynamic surfaces thereon for spinning the collar and a plurality of variable sweep wings for directional control of the projectile.     Abstract: A guided projectile including a precision guidance munition assembly utilizes angular rate sensors to sample a first angular velocity of the precision guidance munition assembly from the first angular rate sensor at a first time, sample a second angular velocity of the precision guidance munition assembly from the second angular rate sensor at the first time, generate a coning command based, at least in part, on the first angular velocity and the second angular velocity, and apply the coning command to the canard assembly. The range may be decreased or increased based on the coning commands.
