摘要： An extension rod unit includes an outer tube with an inner tube retractably inserted thereto and a ratchet unit is connected to the open top of the outer tube. The ratchet unit includes a connection member and a lever. The connection member includes two side panels and each have a first lug extending therefrom. The lever has two second lugs and the shaft extends through the first and second lugs so as to pivotably connect the lever to the connection member. Two ratchet gears are located between two sets of first and second lugs. A slot is defined axially through the shaft. A driving member has a first end fixed to the fixing part and a second of the driving member extends through the slot of the shaft and is located beyond the outer tube. By pivoting the lever, the inner tube can be moved relative to the outer tube.

摘要： A goods fastening apparatus with improved structures is disclosed herein, which comprises a body, a pipe fixedly connected to the body and a gear rack passing through the body and partly muff-coupled with the inside of the pipe. A hand grip and a positioning claw are hinged to the body through a primary pivot. A driving claw is hinged to the hand grip through a secondary pivot. A plate spring is positioned between the driving claw and the positioning claw. A mobile stopper sheet pressed against the plate spring is provided at the upper portion of the body. The front ends of the driving claw and the positioning claw can be embedded into the gear teeth of the gear rack with aid of the plate spring. A stopper pin is fixed at the hand grip. The stopper pin is positioned at the edge of one side of the positioning claw facing the gear rack while the front end of the positioning claw is embedded into the gear teeth of the gear rack. Said goods fastening apparatus achieves high working efficiency, and is easy to operate and control.

摘要： A lifting jack for lifting loads and exerting a pulling force between two locations includes an I-beam standard having a series of uniformly shaped and evenly spaced apertures, an upper runner disposed about the standard and carrying a first climbing pin which is adapted to fit within a corresponding one of the various apertures, a lower runner disposed about the standard and carrying a second climbing pin also adapted to fit within a corresponding one of the various apertures. The upper and lower runners are connected together by a pitman and these three components are further assembled to a lever which is pivotally attached so as to provide a jacking action to the upper and lower runners. The lever has a pair of fulcrum points only one of which is used with any one jacking cycle, depending upon which runner is advancing and which climbing pin is to be inserted into a corresponding aperture. The pitman is arranged into a single-piece, U-shaped lateral cross-section configuration providing greater strength and durability at a very critical point in the construction. A reversing switch and reversing latch combination are arranged relative to the upper and lower runners so that the direction of movement of these runners may be reversed.

摘要： The present disclosure sets out a belt tightening apparatus conformed by modifying a caulking gum fixture to include end fittings which are alternatively received in adjustment slots or which may be abutted against pulley wheels to tighten a pulley belt. More specifically a ratchet advancing mechanism useful with caulking cartridges is modified to include a transverse bar extending through the cartridge seat and projecting beyond the periphery thereof a free end of the ratcheting box be provided with either a cantelevered end fitting or with an end fitting adapted to receive a square drive. The other end of the ratchet handle may be similarly provided with a square fitting and the respective square fittings may be attached to arcuate brackets adapted for receipt in the groove of a pulley wheel. Thus the ratcheting action of a caulking gun may be used to advantage in tensioning pulley belts, the self-locking features thereof providing the further advantage of unattended operation.

摘要： An improved leg construction is disclosed for jackup barges. The barge leg is typically of triangular construction. The members of a leg including the three verticals extending along the leg are preferably constructed of tubular members. The vertical tubular members include on the inside a rack formed of teeth to engage an elevating gear drive unit. Adjacent to the teeth, an undercut on both sides of the slot in the exterior of the tubular member is formed, locking the guide mechanism to the tubular member. This construction measurably improves the profile of the jackup leg to impinging wave action from any direction, thereby reducing the resistance of the leg to water and permitting a reduction in the leg weight and hull size.

摘要： A camper jack of the kind in which two tubes are provided, the first tube being telescopically movable within the second and having a plurality of regularly spaced axially aligned apertures.
