    摘要: An electronic percussion device includes a drum shell, a drumhead as striking surface, vibration sensors, and a peripheral and a central vibration carrier. The vibration carriers abut against the drumhead to convey vibrations therefrom to the sensor(s). The central vibration carrier is a helicoidal spring. The peripheral vibration carrier is a rigid body of solid material supported by peripheral sensors disposed thereunder. Two electrical leads of each one of the peripheral sensors are correspondingly coupled in parallel to produce only two common output leads. An electronic sound module is configured to sample the sensors and employs software procedures to detect percussion strokes delivered on the drumhead, and to generate sounds accordingly. The software procedures use averaged and aggregated signals to provide accurate detection of position and intensity of a drum stroke. Alternative embodiments of the device use only a peripheral vibration carrier or only a central vibration carrier.

    摘要: Provided is a transducer that can be attached to a desired position and removed therefrom and that does not damage musical instruments. A first magnet member and a second magnet member are mutually attracted toward one another by magnetic force across the top board of a ukulele. Thus, a receiver unit including a piezoelectric element, which is supported by the first magnet member, can be positioned at a desired position. Because the receiver unit is kept in position only by the mutually attracting magnetic forces, the receiver unit can be moved to any desired position even after once being positioned on the top surface of the ukulele.

    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument may include a percussion member that generates vibrations when percussed, a vibration resonance member, a vibration damping member, and an electronic sound generation unit. The vibration resonance member may include a hub portion, a plurality of radial portions extending radially from the hub portion, and a plurality of spiral portions. Each of the spiral portions may be disposed between and connects respective two of the radial portions. Each of the radial portions may be connected to a respective adjacent one of the radial portions by one or more of the spiral portions. The vibration damping member, disposed between the percussion member and the vibration resonance member, may propagate the vibrations generated by the percussion member to the vibration resonance member. The electronic sound generation unit, connected to the vibration resonance member, may sense the vibrations through the vibration resonance member and generate an electronic percussion sound.

    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument includes a stand, a support member (e.g. a stay), a pad member with a head, and an impact sensor. The support member has an L-shape including a stand-attaching portion and a pad-attaching portion. The stand-attaching portion is fixed to the stand while the pad-attaching portion is extended vertically from the front end of the stand-attaching portion at an inflection point. Owing to the elasticity of the support member, the pad-attaching portion is deflected about the inflection point in the rearward direction in comparison with the stand-attaching portion due to a striking force applied to the head being struck with a beater. Upon detecting an impact applied to the head, the impact sensor generates an electric signal so as to generate a musical sound. Thus, it is possible to suppress floor reverberation by absorbing an impact between the head and the beater via the support member.

    摘要: An electronic percussion instrument includes a head, a frame, and an impact sensor, and an air ventilation mechanism which includes a pair of cutouts which are distanced from each other and formed in the periphery of the head. The head is attached to the frame such that the periphery of the frame is externally enclosed with the periphery of the head precluding a pair of cutouts. Additionally, a pair of connecting parts with reduced thickness is linearly elongated across the back of the head in parallel. When the head is struck with a beater, a vibration is caused to occur in the head and detected by the impact sensor to produce an electric signal which is used to generate an electronic musical sound, wherein the air ventilation mechanism releases air from the back of the head so as to reliably secure noiselessness while reducing noise.

    摘要: A percussion electronic device allows a percussionist to learn, through electronic feedback, the correct playing of the right or left hand. The percussion device could be struck by the percussion player on the right or left side of the pad. Alternatively, the percussion device can connect to a visual detector to detect motions of the user's left and right hands. Computer software may display written music or instructions of what hand to play at what time and the percussion device would input the performance of the percussionist into the computer, designating which inputs were from the right hand/side and which inputs were from the left hand/side. Optionally, foot sensors can be used to detect movement of the left and right feet to assist in teaching of instruments such as a drum set where the feet may control operation of instruments such as a bass drum and hi-hat.

    摘要: In a musical instrument, such as a piano, having a sound board, the sound board vibrates in response to vibrations of a string responsive to depression of a key. A waveform corresponding to such vibrations of the sound board is detected and recorded into a memory for each of the keys. The recorded vibration waveform is usable for reproduction of a sound based on sound board vibrations. In a sound reproduction apparatus, such as a piano, having a sound board, an excitation device physically excitable in response to an input waveform is provided on the sound board. In response to an operation of a key, a sound board vibration waveform corresponding to the operated key is read out from the memory, and the excitation device is driven in accordance with the read-out waveform signal so that the sound board is vibrated.

The microphone system includes a vibration isolation system. A vertical or horizontal tracking system bridges across supports of a drum or marimba in a vertical or horizontal tracking system. One or more microphones are supported on the first bridging structure. The microphone(s) are positionally secured on the horizontal tracking system. Both the microphones and the horizontal tracking system provide vibration isolation to all of the microphones. A cable managements system is also disclosed to reduce mechanical vibration and eliminate transmission of undesirable sounds.
