摘要: In techniques for video denoising using optical flow, image frames of video content include noise that corrupts the video content. A reference frame is selected, and matching patches to an image patch in the reference frame are determined from within the reference frame. A noise estimate is computed for previous and subsequent image frames relative to the reference frame. The noise estimate for an image frame is computed based on optical flow, and is usable to determine a contribution of similar motion patches to denoise the image patch in the reference frame. The similar motion patches from the previous and subsequent image frames that correspond to the image patch in the reference frame are determined based on the optical flow computations. The image patch is denoised based on an average of the matching patches from reference frame and the similar motion patches determined from the previous and subsequent image frames.

摘要: A system and method that allows the capture of a series of images to create a single linear panoramic image is disclosed. The method includes capturing an image, dynamically comparing a previously captured image with a preview image on a display of a capture device until a predetermined overlap threshold is satisfied, generating a user interface to provide feedback on the display of the capture device to guide a movement of the capture device, and capturing the preview image with enough overlap with the previously captured image with little to no tilt for creating a linear panorama.

摘要: A projection conversion coefficient acquirer of an image processing apparatus acquires the same number of projection conversion coefficients, which are coefficients for doing projection conversion of an image, as the number of a plurality of reference points at differing positions in the image. A post-projection-conversion image acquirer does projection conversion on the image through each of the projection conversion coefficients, of which there are the same number as the number of the plurality of reference points acquired by the projection conversion coefficient acquirer, and acquires a plurality of post-projection-conversion images from the image, the number of the post-projection-conversion images being the same as the number of reference points. A weighted averager finds a weighted average for each of the coordinates of pixels comprising the plurality of post-projection-conversion images, using a plurality of weightings determined in accordance with distance from the plurality of reference points in the image. A weighted average image acquirer acquires a weighted average image in which the plurality of post-projection-conversion images have undergone weighted averaging by the weighted averager.

摘要: Spherical visual content represented in an image space may be obtained. The spherical visual content may have been captured by image sensor(s) during a time duration. The spherical visual content may include phenomena caused by motion of the image sensor(s) and/or optical components that guide light onto the image sensor(s). A capture path taken by the image sensor(s) during the time duration may be determined. The capture path may reflect positions and orientations of the image sensor(s) during the time duration. A smoothed path may be determined based on the capture path. The smoothed path may have smoother changes in positions and/or orientations than the capture path. The image space may be warped based on a difference between the capture path and the smoothed path. The stabilized visual content may be determined by projecting the spherical visual content represented in the warped image space to a spherical projection space.

摘要: For deblurring an image, a method records both short-exposed pixels at a higher frame rate for a short-exposure region and normal-exposed pixels at a normal frame rate for full resolution. In addition, the method deblurs a normal-exposed image as a function of the short-exposed pixels and the normal-exposed pixels.
