The locking spool is rotatable between a first position in which the first face is adjacent the toothed hub, thereby locking the tool head in a selected angular position with respect to the handle, and a second position in which the second face is adjacent the toothed hub such that the tool head is pivotable about the pivot.

摘要： A wrench for action on a work piece is provided. The wrench is a box end socket wrench. The socket wrench has an elongated handle with a box head. The box head has a top and a bottom surface and an inner wall defining an inner aperture. The inner wall is shaped to receive the work piece and has a receiving groove spaced apart from the top surface of the box head to receive a biased member. The biased member extends into the inner aperture of the box head to releasably secure the work piece. When the work piece is inserted in the inner aperture of the box head, the work piece sits flush with the corresponding top and bottom surface of the box head of the wrench.

Further, a second plurality of teeth extends on the first diametrical section. The connecting device includes an engaging member partially received in the hole and the second diametrical section and selectively engages with the first diametrical section. Further, the engaging member includes a third plurality of teeth which selectively engages with the second plurality of teeth for retaining the driving head in a pivoting position.

摘要： A wrench with a rotatable head comprises a handle and a head, which are connected via a first and a second ends. The first end includes an upper and a lower lugs. A first toothed hole is formed in the upper lug; a hole is formed in the lower lug. A second toothed hole is formed in the second end. The second end is inserted between the upper and lower lugs and the second toothed hole is located between the first toothed hole and the hole. A toothed pillar is movably engaged in the toothed holes. When in the engagement position, the toothed pillar is engaged with the first and second toothed holes to fix the head and the handle. When in the disengagement position, the toothed pillar is disengaged from the teeth of the first toothed hole but still engaged with the teeth of the second toothed hole, so that the head and handle are rotatable with respect to each other.

摘要： An adjustable handle system for fastening tools that drive threaded fastener into materials. The present invention allows the handle of fastening tools to change shape so that the tool can function in a confined environment. The handle system is made up of at least two handle portions that are interchangeable due to a common form of detachable connection between the handle portions and drive head. The common connections are detachable in that portions of the handle system can be connected and disconnected from each other with minimal effort. Interchangeability of the differently configured portions enables the handle system to take on many different configurations, thus allowing the fastening tool to function in a variety of confined environments.

A front side of the gear head includes an output coupling, in the shape of a polygon. The drive arm can be pivoted about a pivot axis, which is substantially transverse to the output rotational axis, from a quick-action screwdriver position, in which the drive arm is in the output rotational axis, into a power-action screwdriver position, in which the drive arm extends substantially transversely to the output rotational axis and can be fixed in both pivot positions by detents. The detents can be moved from a detent position into a release position by means of an actuating member associated with the drive arm.
