Abstract: A system and method for dynamic selection of media server in a communication network includes selecting a new media server to optimize a communication network. At least one of a user characteristic, a session characteristic, or a network condition is monitored during an ongoing communication session involving an existing media server. A need for selection of a new media server is determined based on at least one of the user characteristic, the session characteristic, or the network condition. The new media server to optimize the communication network is dynamically selected in response to the need. The dynamic selection may determine a plurality of overall network path lengths between each of a plurality of selectable media servers and a plurality of user equipment involved in the ongoing communication session.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to fax communication and more particularly to methods and systems for increasing quality and reliability of fax communications. In one embodiment, a method of communicating fax in a communication network is provided. The method includes diagnosing in real-time, by at least one network device, network parameters, availability of network resources, and technical capabilities of network devices involved in communicating fax; modifying dynamically, by the at least one network device, a fax mode to one of a set of pre-set fax modes based on result of the diagnosing the network parameters, availability of the network resources, and the technical capabilities of the network devices, wherein each of the set of pre-set fax modes corresponds to a quality of fax communication; and iteratively adapting, by the at least one network device, dynamic modification of the fax mode, based on historic fax mode modification and historic diagnosis data.

Abstract: This technology relates generally to lawful interception and more particularly to methods and systems for lawful interception. In one embodiment, a method for lawful interception in a communication network is disclosed. The method includes detecting in real-time, via at least one network device, adulteration in communication data based on comparison of a set of adulteration parameters derived from the communication data with associated thresholds within a set of thresholds. The method further includes analyzing, via the at least one network device, adulterated content in the communication data to determine feasibility of correcting the adulterated content based on satisfaction of predefined criteria. Moreover, the method includes correcting, selectively, the adulterated content based on satisfaction of the predefined criteria.
