    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to autonomous sidelink communication in a radio frequency band (e.g., in a shared spectrum or an unlicensed spectrum) shared by multiple network operating entities are provided. A first user equipment (UE) performs a listen-before-talk (LBT) in a shared radio frequency band based on a first starting point of a plurality of starting points within an LBT gap duration. The first UE transmits, to a second UE, a first sidelink communication in the shared radio frequency band based on the LBT, the first sidelink communication including first sidelink control information (SCI) and first sidelink data.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a base station may transmit, to a secondary user equipment (UE), a first grant to conditionally transmit one or more data messages over a first set of resources upon completion of a detection procedure. The detection procedure may include monitoring a second set of resources for over-the-air (OTA) signals transmitted by a primary UE pursuant to a second grant, where the first set of resources at least partially overlaps the second set of resources. The UE may monitor for the OTA signals from the primary UE, determine that one or more conditions for transmission of the one or more data messages have been satisfied, and transmit the one or more data messages over the first set of resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may configure allocate resources for sidelink communication between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE as part of a sidelink communication mode 1 and, in some implementations, may configure the first UE (a sidelink receiver) with a set of periodic reception occasions, each reception occasion including multiple reception opportunities for receiving sidelink control information (SCI) from the second UE (a sidelink transmitter). In some examples, each reception opportunity may be associated with a different receive beam and, as such, the first UE may monitor for the SCI from the second UE over different reception opportunities and using different receive beams. Such configured beam-sweeping reception for SCI may increase sidelink reliability as a result of greater spatial diversity, which may increase the likelihood for successful communication between the first UE and the second UE.

The first CG occasion includes a first transmit resource and a first receive window. The first UE receives, from a second UE in the first receive window, a first communication signal including a first data block. The first UE transmits, to a third UE in the first transmit resource, a second communication signal including the first data block.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may transmit, to a device, a request to transmit a sidelink message to a second UE. The first UE may receive, from the device and in response to the transmitted request, an indication of one or more configured sidelink resources allocated to the first UE. The configured sidelink resources may be allocated to the first UE from a pool of sidelink resources configured for a sensing-based channel access procedure. The UE may transmit the sidelink message to the second UE on at least one of the configured sidelink resources associated with the received indication.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, devices, and systems for techniques related to random access channel (RACH) operation. A user equipment (UE) may establish a connection with a base station using a random access procedure. Based on a transmission priority or a network parameter, the random access procedure may be a two-step random access procedure or a four-step random access procedure. The described techniques may support physical layer procedures, including resource configurations and communication schemes that may support enhanced signaling capacity. In some examples, the described techniques may include signaling characteristics and resource mappings for two-step random access procedure based on a transmission priority. In other examples, the described techniques may include antenna techniques associated with a four-step random access procedure. The physical layer procedures may include features for improved data rates, increased spectral efficiency and, in some examples, may promote low latency communication associated with random access, among other advantages.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may configure power parameters for sidelink communications between user equipments (UEs). The power parameters may be configured based on the UEs operating within an AP service area. In some examples, an AP may transmit one or more signals to the first UE, and the first UE may determine the power parameters based on receiving the signals. Additionally or alternatively, the first UE may be configured to transmit one or more reference signals to the AP, and the AP may configure the power parameters based on receiving the reference signals. The first AP may indicate the power parameters in a sidelink configuration transmitted to the first UE. The first UE may communicate with the second UE on a sidelink channel in accordance with the sidelink configuration, which may improve efficiency and reliability of the sidelink communications.
