Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a user equipment (UE) to set uplink power control for a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst. The UE receives uplink power control information including a first set of power control parameters for a long uplink burst and a second set of power control parameters for a short uplink burst with the sets of power control parameters being different from each other. The UE configures uplink power control for the long uplink burst based at least on the first set of power control parameters and the short uplink burst based at least on the second set of power control parameters. The UE sends at least one of a long uplink burst and a short uplink burst based on the corresponding uplink power control and sends at least one uplink power-headroom report for the long uplink burst and short uplink burst.

A user equipment (UE) may receive from a base station (BS), a subband precoding configuration indicating a plurality of precoders for a plurality of subbands based on a transmit power parameter, where each precoder of the plurality of precoders is configured for one subband of the plurality of subbands. Additionally, the UE may transmit to the BS, a communication signal in the plurality of subbands using the plurality of precoders, where the transmitted communication signal satisfies the transmit power parameter.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive a signal including one or more channel transmission parts associated with one or more zones. The UE may identify, based on receiving the signal, at least one zone of the one or more zones that is associated with the UE. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may identify multiple zones of the one or more zones that are associated with the UE. The UE may select a channel transmission part of the one or more channel transmission parts based on receiving the signal and the identified zone associated with the UE. The UE may decode the one or more selected channel transmission parts, and may communicate based on the decoded channel transmission part or the decoded channel transmission parts.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive downlink control information, and may determine assignment information for processing batch-based feedback based on the downlink control information. The UE may determine the batch-based feedback for a batch of downlink transmissions (for example, transmissions associated with packets of information) that are configured to be processed together by the UE. The UE may receive a downlink transmission from the base station, and may construct a codebook based on assignment information and the downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may determine acknowledgment feedback for the downlink transmission based on the codebook. The UE may transmit the acknowledgment feedback to the base station.

Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to measuring cross-link interference in wireless communications. A portion of a slot that includes a downlink reference signal transmitted by a base station and an uplink reference signal transmitted by a user equipment (UE) can be determined, where the uplink reference signal and the downlink reference signal at least partially overlap within the portion of the slot. The downlink reference signal can be received from the base station and the uplink reference signal can be received from the UE in the portion of the slot. Cross-link interference between the downlink reference signal and the uplink reference signal can be measured.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may use multiple antenna ports to communicate with multiple transmission/reception points (TRPs), and each antenna port may correspond to a spatial dimension along which wireless communications may be transmitted. The UE may transmit a first sounding reference signal (SRS) to a serving TRP to aid the serving TRP in determining a subset of spatial dimensions available to the UE along which to transmit downlink transmissions. Upon receiving a downlink transmission from the serving TRP along the subset of spatial dimensions as determined by the serving TRP, the UE may transmit a second SRS to a neighboring TRP to indicate the subset of spatial dimensions. The neighboring TRP avoid transmitting downlink transmissions to the UE or to other UEs along the subset of spatial dimensions, thereby mitigating interference along the subset of spatial dimensions.

Abstract: Techniques are described herein for allocating transmit power between precoding resource groups (PRGs) and/or transmit chains of a user equipment (UE) to reduce the amount of total transmit power that is unused. The UE may determine a set of precoding scaling factors for each PRG to efficiently allocate a total transmit power between the PRGs using a two-stage approach. During a first stage, the UE may determine PRG-specific precoding scaling factors for each PRG associated with an uplink transmission. During a second stage, the UE may determine a residual precoding scaling factor to apply to all the PRGs associated with the uplink transmission and determine overall precoding scaling factors for each PRG. The second stage may be configured to refine the scaling factors determined in the first stage such that at least some of the unused transmit power is allocated to at least one of the PRGs or transmit chains.

Abstract: The described techniques relate to techniques for determining transmission opportunities and utilization of uplink resources by a user equipment (UE) in communication with a base station. In some examples, a base station may transmit a slot configuration to a UE. The slot configuration may indicate the communication link direction (uplink, downlink, or flexible) associated with each symbol in a given slot. A dynamic slot configuration may indicate which of the flexible symbols are uplink symbols and which are downlink symbols and the UE may determine uplink transmission opportunities based on the slot configuration, the dynamic slot configuration, and a grant free uplink type associated with the UE. The UE may transmit an uplink data message to the base station using the determined set of uplink transmission resources.
