    Abstract: To enable dynamic waveform switching, one or more instructions on how to determine a waveform amongst at least a first waveform and a second waveform for at least one uplink transmission based at least on frequency domain resource allocation for the at least one uplink transmission may be transmitted in a network, or apparatuses may comprise one or more of the one or more instructions. The one or more instructions associate at least resource block regions with waveforms. The one or more instructions may be applied to determine, based on a frequency domain resource allocation for an uplink transmission, a waveform for the uplink transmission at least according to a resource block region in the frequency domain resource allocation. The waveform determined is then used in the uplink transmission.

    Abstract: There is provided a method at a network node of a communication network, comprising: receiving an uplink reference signal from a user equipment; estimating, based on the received uplink reference signal, delay information regarding a delay profile of a communication channel between the user equipment and the network node and spatial information regarding the communication channel; applying both the delay information and the spatial information in precoding of at least one downlink reference signal; transmitting the at least one precoded downlink reference signal to the user equipment; and receiving, from the user equipment as a response to the transmission of the at least one precoded downlink reference signal, channel information, the channel information indicating at least non-zero coefficients of at least one channel transmission layer.

    Abstract: A UE determines a PMI, by performing at least the following: determining an intermediate set of vectors from a FD codebook; forming a subset of the intermediate set of vectors; mapping the subset of vectors to a combinatorial indicator; and forming the PMI at least from the combinatorial indicator. The UE sends the PMI toward a wireless network. A base station receives the PMI from the UE. The PMI includes a combinatorial indicator that maps to a subset of vectors from the FD codebook. The base station determines, using at least the received PMI, information from at least the FD codebook to apply to data for transmission toward the UE.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, devices, apparatuses and computer readable storage media for Uplink Control Information (UCI) design. The method comprises determining, at a terminal device, a matrix comprising a set of non-zero linear combination coefficients for quantizing a channel between the terminal device and a network device, the matrix having spatial components and frequency components; shifting the frequency components of the matrix circularly, such that a target coefficient of the set of non-zero linear combination coefficients is located in a frequency component with a predetermined index of the frequency components in a shifted matrix; generating a first indication indicating the spatial component associated with the target coefficient in the matrix; and transmitting, to the network device, uplink control information comprising the first indication. In this way, a new solution for designing the UCI may reduce the overhead for reporting the parameters in the UCI.

    Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for physical random access channel (PRACH) occasion (RO) determination for multiple PRACH transmissions. A method may include receiving, from a network element, a configuration of one or more values for multiple physical random access channel transmissions. The method may also include determining, based on the configuration, a value of the one or more values for multiple physical random access channel transmissions. The method may further include mapping at least one physical random access channel occasion within a reference time period to at least one value of the one or more values for multiple physical random access channel transmissions. In addition, the method may include transmitting, based on the mapping, the determined value for multiple physical random access channel transmissions.
