A portable device is disclosed. A method of controlling a portable device, comprising the steps of capturing an image in front of the portable device, detecting a marker object from the image, displaying a virtual image corresponding to the marker object based on a location of the marker object, and terminating a display of the virtual image corresponding to the marker object, when the detecting of the marker object is terminated, terminate a display of the virtual image based on a first terminate mode if the gaze location of the user is detected at a first location, and terminate the display of the virtual image based on a second terminate mode if the gaze location of the user is detected at a second location.

Discussed are a smart watch and a control method for the same, which provide a notification indicating events, which are scheduled to occur later on the basis of a take-off time, if the smart watch is taken off. The smart watch includes a display unit to display content, a communication unit to perform transmission/reception of data, and a sensor unit to detect an input signal with regard to the smart watch and transmit the signal to a processor that serves to control the aforementioned units. The processor detects a take-off signal, indicating separation of the smart watch from a user, in a worn mode, to switch the smart watch to an unworn mode in response to the detected take-off signal, and provides a notification indicating at least one event that is scheduled to occur after detecting the take-off signal in the unworn mode.

A Head Mount Display (HMD) and a method for controlling the HMD are disclosed. The method includes detecting an external device in an image captured by the HMD, recognizing at least one component from a first User Interface (UI) of the external device, the at least one component including a keypad or a window for outputting data corresponding to an input signal to the keypad, generating a second UI including the recognized at least one component, displaying the second UI in the HMD, wherein the at least one component of the first UI being displayed on the external device is overlaid with the displayed second UI using the image from which the external device is detected, and displaying data corresponding to an input signal currently received at the external device on the second UI in the HMD.

A device, method and timeline user interface for controlling home devices are provided. The method for controlling home devices includes displaying a virtual track on a display unit of a control device, displaying an indicator indicating operation information of a home device connected to the control device through the network along the virtual track, moving the indicator along the virtual track based on a user input; and controlling an operation time of the home device based on the location of the indicator along the virtual track.
