Abstract:
A game machine controller according to the present invention is provided with a memory pack equipped with a nonvolatile memory. The memory pack is able to store a plurality of commands designated by a predetermined button operation as command programs. Once the data is stored, it is retained unless it is compulsorily rewritten or deleted. The command program stored in the memory pack is retrieved and executed by a simple operation of the command buttons. The memory pack can be attached and detached freely so that it can conform to each software. As a result, once the command programs are stored, there is no need to renew the command programs every time the game software is replaced.
Abstract:
Maintenance information is collected by a sensor on an electric power cable installed in a manhole. The information is transmitted to a radio transmitter which is positioned in a vicinity of a bottom plane of an inner lid in an opening of the manhole. The information is transmitted by the radio transmitter, and received by a receiving antenna mounted on a bottom plane of the inner lid. On a top plane of the inner lid, an electrode, a connecting lead or a transmitting antenna is provided to be connected to the receiving antenna by an impedance matching circuit. The information is supplied to an outer lid in the opening of the manhole by the opening of the manhole by the electrode using a spatial coupling capacitance relative to the outer lid, or the connecting lead directly connected to the outer lid. Thus, the information is transmitted as a radio signal by the outer lid functioning as an antenna. Otherwise, the information is radiated below the outer lid by the transmitting antenna. Thus, the radiated information is leaked via the outer lid to the exterior of the manhole.
Abstract:
A process for producing a composite finger-touch key with superior fastness, in which the key top layer is chemically bonded to the key base piece even when a silicone resin is employed for the key base piece, which process is characterized by treating the surface of the key base piece to be bonded with the key top layer by exposing to a UV-irradiation or to a plasma discharge in order to subject the surface to a chemical activation, applying then a coupling agent based on silane, such as aminopropyl triethoxysilane, vinyl triethoxysilane and mercaptopropyl trimethoxysilane, to the so-treated surface of the key base piece, providing thereon with a layer of a resin curable by UV-irradiation or by heating, such as those based on, for example, acrylic, epoxy or silicone resin, of an adequate configuration and exposing the resin layer to a UV-irradiation or a heating to cause curing of the resin layer.
Abstract:
A combustion cylinder structure for an oil burner capable of stably carrying out minimum combustion as well as controlling the combustion operation over a wide range. The structure is so constructed that a lower heat-impermeable cylinder of an outermost cylinder construction of a multi-cylinder combustion assembly is provided at the upper end thereof with an inward collar, which is provided at the inner end thereof a cylindrical section for rectifying air introduced through a gap between the cylindrical section and an outer cylindrical member to guide it along the cylindrical member. Also, the collar is provided with through-holes, which are arranged in the circumferential direction to guide air along a heat-impermeable cylinder arranged on the heat-impermeable cylinder, resulting in preventing the generation of a turbulent flow between the outer cylindrical member and the heat-permeable cylinder.
Abstract:
An oil gauge for a cartridge-type oil tank capable of quantitatively indicating the amount of oil in the tank both during use of the tank and when oil is fed to the tank, while providing the tank with airtightness. The oil gauge includes a transparent cover plate arranged on a side wall of the tank so as to airtightly cover an opening in the side wall of the tank. A gauge base is mounted on an inside of the cover plate. On the gauge base are pivotally mounted an arm rod which is provided with a float and an oil indicator having a scale for quantitatively indicating the amount of oil in the tank. The scale is visible through the transparent cover plate. The oil gauge also includes a pair of stoppers arranged on opposite sides of the arm rod such that one stopper pivotally varies the position of the oil indicator with variations in oil level when the tank is in a working position and the other stopper pivotally varies the position of the oil indicator with variations in oil level when the tank is inverted and placed in an oil feed position.
Abstract:
A vehicle head lamp light distribution controller includes an ADB controller configured to: detect a position of a vehicle present ahead of a subject vehicle; determine whether the vehicle ahead of the subject vehicle is a preceding vehicle or an oncoming vehicle; set a threshold vehicle position based on whether the vehicle ahead of the subject vehicle is a preceding vehicle or an oncoming vehicle; compare the threshold vehicle position and the detected vehicle position; and switch light distribution of head lamps of the subject vehicle based on the comparison between the threshold vehicle position and the detected vehicle position.
Abstract:
A steering lock structure for a vehicle with a saddle includes a steering lock mechanism and left and right frame members. The steering lock mechanism is disposed rearwardly with respect to a head pipe to lock and unlock a rotation of a steering system. The left and right frame members extend in a vehicle rearward direction from the head pipe. The steering lock mechanism is disposed between the left and right frame members. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause a lock pin to carry out a stroke movement along a vehicle upward and downward direction. The steering lock mechanism is configured to cause the lock pin to be brought into and out of engagement with a top bridge of the steering system which is supported on the head pipe. Thereby, locking and unlocking of the rotation of the steering system are allowed.
Abstract:
A front end portion of a rear swing arm of a motorcycle is pivoted to a vehicle body frame via a rear swing-arm bracket. A rear wheel is rotatably supported by a rear end portion of the rear swing arm. The rear swing arm is provided with a shaft drive mechanism for driving the rear wheel. The rear swing-arm bracket includes a left/right pair of frame members, cross members and a connection portion. A front end portion of the shaft drive mechanism faces a right-side opening at a position biased towards the frame member. The connection portion is extendedly provided at a position biased toward the center line (the center) extending along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The front end portion of the rear swing arm is fastened to the frame member and the connection portion via a pivot shaft and a nut in a left-side opening.
