Abstract: A cleaning device includes a cleaning unit, a movement mechanism, and a unit mounting portion. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning part having a contact surface brought into contact with a surface of a conveyance roller. The movement mechanism moves the cleaning unit between a cleaning position at which the cleaning part comes in contact with the conveyance roller, and a mounting and removing position at which the cleaning part is located below the conveyance roller in a separated manner and the cleaning unit is allowed to be mounted and removed on and from the apparatus body. The unit mounting portion houses the cleaning unit disposed at the mounting and removing position. The cleaning unit is configured such that the cleaning unit in a state of being housed in the unit mounting portion is mounted and removed, together with the processing unit, on and from the apparatus body.

Abstract: A cleaning device includes a sheet conveyance roller, and a cleaning unit that cleans a surface of the sheet conveyance roller. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning member that can come in contact with the surface of the sheet conveyance roller, and a pressing roller that presses the cleaning member against the surface of the sheet conveyance roller. The pressing roller includes a low Young's modulus area formed at least on a part of the pressing roller in a radial direction, the low Young's modulus area having a Young's modulus lower than a Young's modulus of the sheet conveyance roller. When the surface of the sheet conveyance roller is cleaned, the pressing roller is pressed against the sheet conveyance roller so as to elastically deform in the radial direction in a state where the cleaning member is sandwiched between the pressing roller and the sheet conveyance roller.

Abstract: The cleaning device includes a cleaning unit. The cleaning part includes a web of a strip shape, the web forming the contact surface that comes in contact with the conveyance roller, a pressing roller that presses the web against the conveyance roller, a feed-out roller that feeds out the web so as to cause a part of the web that comes in contact with the conveyance roller to shift, and a take-up roller that takes up the web. The housing has an opening that receives foreign matter dropping from the vicinity of a nip portion formed between the pressing roller and the conveyance roller.

Abstract: A light scanning device includes a polygon mirror, a first incidence optical system, a second incidence optical system, a first scanning lens, and a second scanning lens. The polygon mirror includes a deflection surface ensuring entering of the first light beam and the second light beam at an identical timing. Assuming that a reflection point of a light beam on the deflection surface at time point at which the light beam reflected at the deflection surface passes through a position on an optical axis of a scanning lens, the second scanning lens is superimposed on the first scanning lens at different positions in a main-scanning direction and an optical axis direction such that a circle locus is along an offset curved line. The circle locus is a locus of a point corresponding to the reference point by the rotation of the polygon mirror.
