摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide an air cleaner for a vehicle capable of preventing introduced air from directly striking an air cleaner element and of reducing a decrease in intake efficiency to a minimum. The air cleaner unit for a vehicle of the present invention is provided with an air cleaner box 12, an air cleaner element 16 mounted on an upper portion in the air cleaner box, an exhaust port 12a formed at the upper front portion of the air cleaner box 12, an intake port 12b formed on the side of the exhaust port at the front portion of the air cleaner, and an intake duct 15 inserted into the air cleaner box through the intake port, wherein the downstream of the intake duct is linearly mounted toward the lower rear portion in the air cleaner box and an opening in the downstream of the intake duct is arranged below the air cleaner element.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member for bearing an image, a recording material bearing member for bearing a recording material electrostatically, and a transfer member for transferring the image on the image bearing member electrostatically to the recording material borne by the recording material bearing member by being put into contact with the recording material bearing member, wherein a length of a contact area between the recording material bearing member and the transfer member is less than that of a contact area between the image bearing member and the recording material borne by the recording material bearing member in a conveyance direction of the recording material bearing member, wherein the recording material bearing member has a first layer for bearing the recording material and a second layer in contact with the transfer member in an image transfer, and wherein a surface resistivity of the first layer is lower than a surface resistivity of the second layer.

摘要： An image forming apparatus has an image forming device for forming an image on a recording material in response to an image on a document. The apparatus also has a glossiness detection device for detecting from the document the level of glossiness of the document image. The image forming device is controlled based on an output from the glossiness detection device. With this construction, the level of glossiness in response to the document image can be reproduced on the recording material, thus improving the quality of reproduced images.

摘要： A controller apparatus for an electric vehicle includes a power supply, a power converting section for converting power supplied from the power supply, a motor which receives an output from the power converting section to drive the electric vehicle; an accelerator opening detector for detecting an accelerator opening; a controller section for controlling said power converting section in response to a detected output from said accelerator opening detector; a current detector for detecting the current supplied to the motor from the power supply; and failure decider for deciding that the controller suffers a failure when the output from the current detector is not smaller than the reference value previously determined in accordance with the accelerator opening, thereby stopping the drive of the motor. In such a structure, the torque not smaller than that required by a driver is produced so that it is possible to prevent the electric vehicle from running away.
