    摘要: A coated article that can be used in applications such as insulating glass (IG) units, so that resulting IG units can achieve high visible transmission of at least 70% (e.g., when using clear glass substrates from 1.0 to 3.5 mm thick), combined with at least one of: (a) SHGC no greater than about 0.45, more preferably no greater than about 0.40; (b) SC no greater than about 0.49, more preferably no greater than about 0.46; (c) chemical and/or mechanical durability; (d) neutral transmissive color such that transmissive a* is from −5.0 to 0 (more preferably from −3.5 to −1.5), and transmissive b* is from −2.0 to 4.0 (more preferably from 1.0 to 3.0); and (e) neutral reflective color from the exterior of the IG unit (i.e., Rg/Rout) such that reflective a* is from −3.0 to 2.0 (more preferably from −2.0 to 0.5), and reflective b* is from −5.0 to 1.0 (more preferably from −4.0 to −1.0). In certain example non-limiting embodiments, coated articles herein comprise: substrate/TiOx/ZnOx/Ag/NiCrOx/SnOx/ZnOx/Ag/NiCrOx/SnOx/SixNy.

    摘要: A sputtering target includes an outer target tube, an inner support tube supporting a magnet carrier bar extending along substantially the entire length of the inner support tube; and a water cooling circuit including at least one passageway within the inner support tube with an inlet at one end thereof adapted to receive cooling water from an external source, at least one outlet aperture at an opposite end thereof opening to a cooling plenum radially between the inner support tube and the outer target tube; and a baffle comprising a substantially flat plate attached to the inner support tube adjacent the opposite end, the plate extending radially within the plenum between the inner support tube and the outer target tube and having an array of flow apertures therein.

    摘要: A low-E coated article is provided, in certain example embodiments, with a layer including tin oxide provided between a layer including titanium oxide and a layer including silicon nitride. It has been found that the provision of such a tin oxide inclusive layer between silicon nitride and titanium oxide can significantly improve durability of the resulting coated article, especially after heat treatment (HT). In certain example embodiments, the coated article may be formed so as to have a fairly high visible transmission (TY or Tvis) to sheet resistance (Rs) ratio (i.e., a ratio Tvis/Rs). Coated articles herein may be used in the context of windows or the like (e.g., laminated vehicle windshields).

    摘要: A coated article is provided that may be heat treated in certain example embodiments. A coating of the coated article includes a tin oxide inclusive layer, a silicon nitride inclusive layer and/or a zinc oxide inclusive layer located under an infrared (IR) reflecting layer of a material such as silver. It has been found that this may result in improved thermal stability upon heat treatment, higher visible transmission, desirable coloration, lower sheet resistance (Rs), and/or lower emissivity in certain example embodiments of this invention. In certain embodiments, a zinc oxide inclusive layer may be provided above a contact layer over the IR reflecting layer, again for improving thermal stability, coloration, sheet resistance and/or visible transmission.
