摘要： A package for convenient dispensing of multiple kinds of candies, mints or the like is made from a single blank having top flaps including a pair of slides, and bottom flaps foldably extending from side panels running the length of the blank. The side panels are formed into a dual compartment box with a common front panel with a pair of openings allowing the candies or mints to pass. The slides are each separately moveable to block and unblock each of the openings. The box has a support tab that presses the slides against the front panel near the openings, and the slides have catches to keep at least some part of them inside the box.

摘要： A multi compartment package with slide openings for storing and dispensing two different types or flavors of solid pourable product such as candies or mints is made from a single blank having a number of panels extending lengthwise and all foldably connected. From the blank the exterior of the package is formed having a front panel and a rear panel, and the interior having two compartments. The front panel has cut outs for dispensing the pourable product, and the rear panel connects to package enclosure tabs. Each compartment has a detachably connected slide, and the slides are glued to the package enclosure tabs to seal the package. To open the package, the slides are detached and moved to expose the cut outs through which the pourable product is dispensed. Conveniently, if all the product is not immediately consumed, the slides may be closed to retain freshness.

One of the sides of the box has an opening near the top of the box, covered by the slide. Upon lifting the top of the box and thereby detaching the slide, the opening is uncovered enabling the contents to flow from inside the box. The easy-dispensing box is constructed by starting from a single sheet of blank stock, and folding the sides, preferably into a tube box with sealed ends. Advantageously, the slide and the stops end up inside the box and properly located, and both ends of the box may be sealed.

摘要： A packaging system for storing and dispensing pourable items includes a box that has an opening. An inner liner inside the box has a removable portion defined by at least one line of weakness. The removable portion is positioned adjacent to the opening in the box. The packaging system has a first mode for longer term storage in which the removable portion remains intact to seal the inner liner, and a second mode for dispensing the contents of the inner liner through the opening in which the removable portion has been at least partially removed from the inner liner. In one embodiment, the box comprises a front wall having an opening and an inside surface, a back wall, a first and a second side wall, a top and a bottom flap, and a slide that is in contact with the inside surface of the front wall, the slide having an opening. The front wall, back wall, first and second side walls, and top and bottom flaps are interconnected so as to form a box, the slide being movable between an open position in which the slide opening substantially aligns with the front wall opening and a closed position in which the slide opening is entirely out of alignment with the front wall opening, thereby closing the box. A method of dispensing a pourable item includes forming a packaging system, removing the removable section from said inner liner, and pouring at least a portion of the contents of the inner liner through the opening in the box.
