摘要: A hydrocarbon feed stream, particularly one comprising heavier hydrocarbons, may be converted to valuable products such as motor gasoline and/or lubricating oil by employing one or more MOF catalysts, which may be prepared from a precursor metal-organic framework (MOF). A MOF catalyst may be prepared by exchanging one or more organic linking ligands of the precursor MOF for an organic linking ligand having a different acidity and/or electron-withdrawing properties, which, in turn, may affect catalytic activity.

摘要: A drilling system, assembly, and method may help optimize drilling in a system that involves more than one rotary tool that engages the formation. A rotary tool may be a rotary cutting tool, such as a drill bit or reamer, or some other rotary tool (e.g. stabilizer or rotary steerable tool) that has the potential to drag on the wall of the hole being drilled and take energy away from cutting. In an example, a wellbore or portion thereof is formed by rotating a first rotary cutting tool having a first cutting structure in engagement with one portion of the formation together with a second rotary cutting tool having a second cutting structure in engagement with another portion of the formation. Forces are obtained above and below the second cutting structure. One or more drilling parameter or drill bit design parameter are adjusted in relation to a force differential between the forces above and below the second cutting structure.

摘要: The present disclosure may relate to a method of remediating a wellbore. The method may comprise pumping a resin treatment fluid from a surface location to an annular space bounded by an outer diameter of a production tubular, wherein the resin treatment fluid comprises a liquid hardenable resin, a hardening agent, and a particulate bridging agent. The resin treatment fluid may gravity settle in the annular space to contact production equipment in the annular space such that at least a portion of the particulate bridging agent bridges across one or more damaged sections of the production equipment, wherein at least a portion of the liquid hardenable resin sets to form a hardened mass to seal the one or more damaged sections.

摘要: Provided is a method for mitigating a lost circulation zone. The method may include providing a lost circulation treatment composition that may include an acid responsive polymer that may include at least one monomer, at least one comonomer, and at least one crosslinker; a carbonate-based solvent; and a carrier fluid that may include water. The method may also include introducing the lost circulation treatment composition into a wellbore within a subterranean formation, wherein the subterranean formation may include the lost circulation zone; placing the lost circulation treatment composition into the lost circulation zone, hydrolyzing the carbonate-based solvent to generate carbon dioxide, and causing the swelling (change of shape) of acid responsive polymer to mitigate the losses.

摘要: System and methods of controlling fluid flow during reservoir stimulation treatments are provided. A flow distribution of treatment fluid injected into formation entry points along a wellbore path is monitored during a current stage of a multistage stimulation treatment. Upon determining that the monitored flow distribution meets a threshold, a remainder of the current stage is partitioned into a plurality of treatment cycles and at least one diversion phase for diverting the fluid to be injected away from one or more formation entry points between consecutive treatment cycles. A portion of the fluid to be injected into the formation entry points is allocated to each of the treatment cycles of the partitioned stage. The treatment cycles are performed for the remainder of the current stage using the treatment fluid allocated to each treatment cycle, wherein the flow distribution is adjusted so as not to meet the threshold.
