摘要: A drilling system, assembly, and method may help optimize drilling in a system that involves more than one rotary tool that engages the formation. A rotary tool may be a rotary cutting tool, such as a drill bit or reamer, or some other rotary tool (e.g. stabilizer or rotary steerable tool) that has the potential to drag on the wall of the hole being drilled and take energy away from cutting. In an example, a wellbore or portion thereof is formed by rotating a first rotary cutting tool having a first cutting structure in engagement with one portion of the formation together with a second rotary cutting tool having a second cutting structure in engagement with another portion of the formation. Forces are obtained above and below the second cutting structure. One or more drilling parameter or drill bit design parameter are adjusted in relation to a force differential between the forces above and below the second cutting structure.

摘要: A method comprising: introducing a first fluid into a wellbore above a fracture gradient of a subterranean formation penetrated by the wellbore to create a first plurality of fractures within a first portion of the subterranean formation; introducing a second fluid comprising at least one acid component into the wellbore above the fracture gradient of the subterranean formation penetrated by the wellbore to create a second plurality of fractures within a second portion of the subterranean formation; allowing the second fluid to enter at least one natural fracture in the first or second portion of the subterranean formation allowing the acid component to dissolve at least a portion of the subterranean formation to form one or more induced fractures in fluidic communication with the natural fracture, at least some of the first plurality of fractures, and at least some of the second plurality of fractures.

摘要: The present disclosure may relate to a method of remediating a wellbore. The method may comprise pumping a resin treatment fluid from a surface location to an annular space bounded by an outer diameter of a production tubular, wherein the resin treatment fluid comprises a liquid hardenable resin, a hardening agent, and a particulate bridging agent. The resin treatment fluid may gravity settle in the annular space to contact production equipment in the annular space such that at least a portion of the particulate bridging agent bridges across one or more damaged sections of the production equipment, wherein at least a portion of the liquid hardenable resin sets to form a hardened mass to seal the one or more damaged sections.

摘要: Systems and methods of the present disclosure generally relate to orienting perforation systems for subterranean operations. An alignment system comprises a first component coupled to a charge tube, the first component operable to rotate in concert with the charge tube, wherein an axis of rotation of the first component extends in a direction of the longitudinal axis of the first component; a second component nested within the first component or disposed within a gun body, wherein the charge tube is movably disposed within the gun body; and an electrical contact extending through the first and second components, wherein the first component is further operable to move in axial directions within the gun body and along the electrical contact to interlock with the second component or separate from the second component.

摘要: This disclosure may generally relate to systems and methods systems and methods for determining drill bit position while drilling. A bit-position-while-drilling system may include: a drill bit; a gyroscope unit coupled to the drill bit to measure angular velocity about three axes, wherein the gyroscope unit is coupled to the drill bit in a known relationship to the drill bit; and an information handling system operable to receive gyroscope measurements from gyroscope unit and determine position of the drill bit in a borehole based at least partially on the gyroscope measurements.
