    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver may receive, from a transmitter, an indication of a signature of a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS). The receiver may receive a signal that is transmitted by the transmitter and redirected by the RIS. The receiver may receive, from the RIS, a sequence associated with the signature of the RIS indicating that the signal is transmitted using a link associated with the RIS.     Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In some aspects, a network entity receives a positioning report from a user equipment (UE). The network entity transmits, to the UE, an indication of a reference transmission-reception point (TRP) for sensing operations based at least on the positioning report. In some aspects, a UE receives from a network entity, an indication of a reference TRP to use in a cooperative sensing scheme. The UE transmits a sensing measurement report including one or more measurements associated with time of arrivals (TOAs) of arrival paths of the reference TRP and one or more neighboring TRPs with respect to a reference time.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for a user equipment (UE) to report higher order phase variation information to a network entity for the purpose of coherent joint transmission (CJT) with two or more transmission reception points (TRPs). The UE may provide an indication to the network entity that the UE is able to report higher order phase variation information, and a measurement report may be provided that includes such higher order phase variation information. The network entity may select a precoding matrix for CJT with the UE via the two or more TRPs based on the measurement report. The network entity may then communicate with the UE via the TRPs in accordance with the selected precoding matrix.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may select, as a default path loss reference signal (PLRS), a reference signal (RS) resource that corresponds to an active physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of an active downlink (DL) bandwidth part (BWP) if a control resource set (CORESET) is not provided in the active DL BWP. The UE may receive the default PLRS. In some aspects, the UE may select, as a default spatial relation for a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) communication, a spatial relation that corresponds to an active PDSCH TCI state of an active DL BWP if a CORESET is not provided in the active DL BWP.     Abstract: A network node may obtain a first position of an object associated with a user equipment (UE) based on a received reflection of a sensing signal. The (UE) may transmit a communication beam to a network node. The network node may obtain at least one of an indication of a second position of the UE or a beam direction of the communication beam. The network node may configure a set of communication maximum permissible exposure (MPE) attributes associated with the UE based on an MPE threshold, the first position, and at least one of the second position or the beam direction. The network node may transmit the configuration of the set of communication MPE attributes to the UE. The UE may receive the configuration of the set of communication MPE attributes.
