    Abstract: Idle discontinuous reception (I-DRX) cycles at a user equipment (UE) may be extended via leveraging of paging assistance from a second UE. For example, a low complexity UE may have a connection to a network (e.g., via a link to a base station) as well as a connection to another UE (e.g., via a device-to-device link to a regular UE). In cases where such a low complexity UE receives paging messages from the network, a UE associated with a device-to-device link of the low complexity UE may monitor paging messages on behalf of the low complexity UE. As such, the low complexity UE may extend its I-DRX cycle, as the assisting UE monitors paging information for the low complexity UE. The assisting UE may forward paging information for the low complexity UE according to paging occasions of the extended I-DRX cycle of the low complexity UE.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques related to wireless communication system to enable full duplex communication. A network node is configured to communicate with a parent node and a child node. The network node may include a transceiver, a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver and the memory. The transceiver, memory, and processor may be configured to determine uplink (UL) parent and child link priorities for parent and child time-domain resources that overlap in time at least partially. The transceiver, memory, and processor may also be configured to determine UL parent and child beams based on the UL parent and child link priorities. The transceiver, memory, and processor may further be configured to notify the parent node of the UL parent beam for the parent and child time-domain resources. The transceiver, memory, and processor may yet further be configured to concurrently transmit parent traffic to the parent node using the UL parent beam and receive child traffic from the child node using the UL child beam.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) that indicates that the UE is configured with a quantity of receive elements that is greater relative to a quantity of transmit elements with which the UE is configured. The UE may receive, based at least in part on transmitting the SRS, a first channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) set and a second CSI-RS set.     Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a master information block that identifies a first control resource set (CORESET) for a first category of UEs and a first common search space (CSS) associated with the first CORESET. The first CORESET and the first CSS may identify one or more overlapping resource grids that overlap in time and frequency with one or more corresponding resource grids of a second CORESET and a second CSS, associated with the second CORESET, for a second category of UEs, and one or more non-overlapping resource grids that include a corresponding one or more time domain resources that are earlier than a time domain resource of the second CORESET and the second CSS. The UE may monitor for a physical downlink control channel candidate included in the first CORESET and the first CSS.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A relay node may determine a channel status for each of a plurality of downlink beamforming directions between a parent node and the relay node based at least in part on a downlink beamforming direction between the relay node and a child node. The relay node may transmit a report to the parent node indicating at least a subset of the channel statuses and an indication that a respective downlink beamforming direction of the plurality of downlink beamforming directions corresponds to a respective channel status in the subset of the channel statuses. The relay node may receive a grant from the parent node indicating a first downlink beamforming direction. The relay node may monitor for a downlink transmission from the parent node based at least in part on the grant and the first downlink beamforming direction.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.
