Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for multiplexing of uplink channels in a shared radio frequency spectrum band. Techniques may provide for segmenting uplink resources into multiple different sets of uplink resources, each set of uplink resources having one or more associated uplink control channel resources. A base station or user equipment (UE) may select a set of uplink resources from the multiple sets of uplink resources for uplink transmissions from the UE based on a location of the uplink control channel resources of the set of uplink resources relative to other allocated uplink resources of the UE. Uplink control information (UCI) may be multiplexed with one or more uplink shared channel transmissions of a UE for transmission to a base station in certain circumstances.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some wireless communications systems may support communications between a base station and a user equipment (UE) on multiple carriers. A UE may maintain a connection with a base station on a first carrier (e.g., an anchor carrier), and the UE may use a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle on a second carrier. The DRX cycle may include scheduled on-durations during which the UE may monitor the second carrier for signaling from the base station. To reduce the power consumption at the UE associated with repeatedly monitoring scheduled on-durations, the base station may transmit wake-up signaling to the UE on the first carrier to identify the on-durations that include data from the base station. Accordingly, the UE may monitor these on-durations for the data and avoid monitoring other on-durations to limit power consumption.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may identify synchronization signals and a set of frequency hopping channels for communications as part of a discovery reference signal (DRS) in an anchor channel. The set of frequency hopping channels may include a sequence to indicate an order for utilizing each hopping channel of the set of hopping channels. In some cases, the hopping sequence may be a pseudo random sequence. Additionally, the hopping sequence may defined such that a non-repeating hopping sequence or pattern which visits all hopping frequencies before revisiting the same frequency is utilized. As such, each hopping channel may be utilized an equal number of times within a period of time and have an approximately equal occupancy time to the other hopping channels.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to signaling medium reservation information medium sharing among multiple radio technologies (RATs) are provided. A wireless communication device of a first RAT detects a channel reservation signal of a second RAT in a spectrum shared by the first RAT and the second RAT. The wireless communication device determines whether the channel reservation signal indicates a first transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration or a second TXOP duration that is different from the first TXOP duration. The wireless communication device selects, based on the determination, at least one of performing a backoff or continuing to monitor the spectrum.

Abstract: Multi-band Wake-up (MWU) signal transmission and detection is disclosed. A transmitter determines a MWU signal that indicates availability of one or more sub-bands to a first user in a serving cell, and transmits the MWU signal for the one or more sub-bands in the serving cell. A clear channel assessment (CCA) status on the one or more sub-bands that are available to the first user is carried by the payload of MWU signals. The MWU signal includes a first user identifier that identifies the first user as a targeted receiver of the MWU signal. The first user has priority over a second user to utilize the one or more sub-bands. Correspondingly, a receiver receives a MWU signal for one or more sub-bands in the serving cell, decodes a payload of the MWU signal, and determines availability of the one or more sub-bands to the first user based on the payload of the MWU signal.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to considering channel variations for medium sharing in a spatial domain are provided. A first wireless communication device transmits one or more reservation response signals indicating spatial channel information in response to a reservation request for a transmission opportunity (TXOP) in a frequency spectrum. The first wireless communication device receives, from a second wireless communication device, a communication signal from a first spatial subspace during the TXOP based on the reservation request. In one embodiment, the first wireless communication device may repeat a transmission of the reservation response signal after transmitting a portion of the communication signal. In another embodiment, the first wireless communication device may include a channel variation parameter in the reservation response signal.

Abstract: Configurations of system information blocks providing cell access information supporting wideband coverage enhancement in wireless communication networks are disclosed. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless systems utilizing shared radio frequency spectrum bands, base stations may operate in different listen before talk (LBT) modes. For example, a base station may operate in an LBT enabled mode or a non-LBT enabled mode. A UE may perform system acquisition with the base station based on receiving acquisition signals (e.g., synchronization signals and physical broadcast channel (PBCH) signals) from the base station. These acquisition signals may depend on the LBT mode of the base station. For example, the frame timing and number of subframes for the acquisition signals may be based on the LBT mode of the base station. In some cases, a base station may adaptively switch LBT modes, and the UE may re-synchronize with the base station based on an LBT configuration period or a paging message from the base station.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may perform an access procedure to obtain access to a shared radio frequency spectrum band during a measurement window and generate a synchronization signal (SS) burst comprising a plurality of SS blocks. The base station may perform a beam sweeping first transmission of the SS burst over the shared radio frequency spectrum based at least in part on the access procedure. In the first transmission or a second transmission, the base station may transmit at least one of a first indication of a time of access to the shared radio frequency spectrum band with respect to the measurement window, a second indication of a transmission beam associated with the SS block, and a third indication of a quantity of remaining SS blocks from the plurality of SS blocks to follow the SS block in the measurement window.
