Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method and an apparatus for use in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of performing a discovery procedure for a ProSe and an apparatus therefore, in which the method comprises: receiving first resource allocation information for plural ProSe channels from a base station via a broadcast signal; sensing the plural ProSe channels; transmitting a sensing result for the plural ProSe channels to the base station; receiving second resource allocation information indicating one of the plural ProSe channels from the base station via a unicast signal; and transmitting a discovery signal via the ProSe channel indicated by the second resource allocation information.
