    摘要: A stepping motor drive device includes: a first pulse generation circuit that generates pulses at rising or falling edges of a first clock signal; a second pulse generation circuit that generates pulses at rising and falling edges of a second clock signal; a first mask circuit that outputs or masks the output of the first pulse generation circuit depending on whether the second clock signal is normal; a second mask circuit that outputs or masks the output of the second pulse generation circuit depending on whether the first clock signal is normal; a logic circuit that logically combines the outputs of the mask circuits; a step position control circuit that determines the step position of a motor according to the output of the logic circuit; and a motor drive section that supplies a current to the motor according to the output of the step position control circuit.

    摘要: A speed controller for a small electric motor is described. The controller is used to control small electric motors such as those used in small power tools such as electric screwdrivers. A series of electrical components are used to allow the motor to remain idle until a load is applied to the motor. When a load is applied to the motor, it increases in speed quickly to its maximum speed and remains there until the load is removed from the motor.

For low speeds a series configuration is selected, while for higher speeds a parallel configuration is selected.     摘要: An input shaft speed signal for rotating a motor at a predetermined rotational speed is output from a rotation control unit to the motor. A rotational speed reduced by a speed reduction device with elastic bodies is detected by an output rotation sensor. A CPU obtains slippage by calculating a reduction ratio based on the detected output shaft speed signal and input shaft speed signal. Load torque is determined from the obtained slippage. A current value to be supplied to the motor is determined so that the motor produces torque corresponding to the load torque. The current value to be supplied from a motor driver to the motor is thus controlled.

    摘要: An apparatus and method of controlling a stepper motor, includes a torque calculator to calculate torque operated on the stepper motor and to output to a controller a driving current setting signal corresponding thereto. The controller outputs to a driver a control signal to apply variable driving current based on the driving current setting signal to the stepper motor. The driver drives the stepper motor based on the control signal inputted from the controller. Accordingly, overheating and inaccurate operations of a control IC (the controller) and the stepper motor may be prevented, and driving characteristics such as low power consumption, low vibration and low noise of the stepper motor may be improved.

    摘要: A method and system (10) for simultaneous operation of primary (14A-14D) and redundant (16A-16D) motor windings in a redundant stepper motor (12). The redundant motor system (10) has a control circuit (11) including a phase synchronizer (36) for establishing a relationship between predetermined primary and redundant motor windings (14A-14D and 16A-16D) such that the power consumption is increased and the motor torque is affected. In one embodiment of the present invention the predetermined motor windings (14A-14D and 16A-16D) are operated in phase thereby doubling the power consumption and increasing the torque. In another embodiment, the predetermined motor windings (14A-14D and 16A-16D) are operated in phase quadrature thereby doubling the power consumption and increasing the torque by less than 50%. In yet another embodiment, the predetermined motor windings (14A-14D and 16A-16D) are operated out of phase with each other thereby doubling power consumption and producing zero torque.

    摘要: A motor control system that reduces noise while reducing power requirements but providing sufficient torque. A one-phase-on drive mode modified to microstep between "one phase on" positions is used to accelerate the motor in a non-linear manner to a maximum speed. The microstep drive modes have a constant period, and the step rate of the motor is increased by decreasing the number of microsteps in succeeding steps of the motor. A modified full step waveform maintains the motor at the maximum speed, where the current to one winding of the step motor changes polarity within one motor step while the other remains approximately constant providing increased smoothness in the drive and reduced noise. The polarity changes in accordance with the inductance and the compliance voltage of the motor. A one-phase-on waveform modified to include microsteps between "one phase on" positions later decelerates the motor in a non-linear manner, and the motor stops in a detent position until another waveform of steps is delivered to the motor.

    摘要: In multi-phase driving systems of electric motors in a switching mode employing distinct integrated half-bridge output stages, the use of multiple external components for each integrated half-bridge stage to implement functions of adjustment of the switching dead-time and of disabling/enabling of the half-bridge stage can be avoided and an improved matching obtained by using single external components connected in common to the dedicated pins of all the distinct integrated half-bridge output stages. This is achieved by duplicating the disabling comparator, respectively for the power transistor of the pull-up branch and for the power transistor of the pull-down branch in each integrated half-bridge stage.
