    摘要: An electrical contact includes a main body, a supporting arm extending upwardly from an upper edge thereof, and a spring arm extending curvedly and upwardly from a lower edge thereof with a contacting region at a free end. The spring arm will contact the supporting arm when the spring arm is downwardly pressed by the CPU. A solder part is sidewardly connected to a downward extension formed on a lower portion of the main body and located beside the spring arm, and includes a vertical section extending from the side edge of the downward extension, a horizontal solder pad extending from a lower edge of the vertical direction wherein a curved joint is formed between the downward extension and the vertical section for easy adjusting the angle formed between the downward extension and the vertical section, thus being adapted to fit different CPUs and PCBs.

    摘要: A receptacle connector includes an insulative receptacle housing and a plurality of receptacle contacts retained in the receptacle housing. The plug connector includes an insulative plug housing and a plurality of plug connectors retained in the plug connector. The receptacle housing includes a rear wall extending along a lengthwise direction, and a pair of side walls extending from two opposite ends of the rear wall along the front-to-back direction perpendicular of the lengthwise direction, to commonly form a receiving space thereamong. The receiving space forms a front opening and an upper opening for communicating with an exterior. The receptacle contacts are retained in the rear wall and extend into the receiving space. The plug connector is adapted to be rearwardly inserted into the receiving space along the front-to-back direction via the front opening, or be downwardly and rotationally inserted into the receiving space via the upper opening.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes an insulating body and multiple differential signal terminal pairs, each having two differential signal terminals. Each differential signal terminal has a main body portion, a strip connecting portion extending upward from an outer side of the main body portion, an elastic arm extending upward from the main body portion, and a contact portion extending upward from the elastic arm. A through slot runs through the elastic arm, forming an inner elastic arm and an outer elastic arm at two opposite sides of the through slot. The outer elastic arm is adjacent to the strip connecting portion. A consistent pitch is formed between the contact portions of the differential signal terminals. A first distance between two adjacent inner elastic arms in each differential signal terminal pair is less than a second distance between two adjacent outer elastic arms in two adjacent differential signal terminal pairs.

    摘要: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing and a plurality of first terminals. A front surface of the insulating housing is recessed rearward to form an insertion space. The insulating housing opens a plurality of first terminal grooves. The insulating housing defines a plurality of upper adjusting slots. The plurality of first terminals are disposed in the plurality of the first terminal grooves. Each of the plurality of the first terminals has a first fastening portion and a first contact portion. A rear end of the first fastening portion extends downward to form an adjusting portion which opens an opening. The first fastening portions of the plurality of the first terminals are assembled in the plurality of the upper adjusting slots. The first contact portions of the plurality of the first terminals are assembled in the plurality of the first terminal grooves and project downward into the insertion space.

The header connector includes a plastic mounting block defining a plurality of slots. A plurality of contacts is at least partially disposed in the slots of the mounting block, respectively. The contacts each have a first section and a second section. The first section includes a connector end and the second section includes a plurality of retention tabs and a tail end for connection to the electronic/electrical device. The retention tabs extend in the lateral direction and engage the mounting block to help secure the contacts to the mounting block. A keeper is connected to the mounting block such that the tail ends of the contacts protrude from an outer surface of the keeper.

    摘要: An electrical connector for electrically connecting a chip module includes an insulating body, a signal terminal received in the insulating body, and a first and a second shielding sheets retained in the insulating body. The insulating body sustains a chip module, and the signal terminal elastically urges against the chip module. The first shielding sheet is located on one side of the signal terminal and elastically urges the chip module. The second shielding sheet is located on the other side of the signal terminal, and adjacent to the first shielding sheet. The first and second shielding sheets are communicated through an electric conductor. The second shielding sheet does not urge the chip module.
