Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems for wireless communications utilizing a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) based on first signals received from a first node and based on second signals received from a second node are described. A wireless device may receive measurement information that indicates resources of a first node and a second node for use in determining the PMI. After receiving the first signals and the second signals, the wireless device may use the first signals and the second signals to determine the PMI. The determined PMI may be sent to a base station, which may transmit one or more packets based on the determined PMI.

Abstract: In a communication method, a user equipment receives system information broadcast from a current serving cell of the user equipment and indicating frequencies different from a frequency of the current serving cell, the user equipment receives a paging signal from the current serving cell that is different from the system information and includes a request message requesting the user equipment to perform frequency redistribution in which the user equipment selects a target frequency, and performs the frequency redistribution in response to receiving the paging signal including the request message. Performing the frequency redistribution comprises the user equipment measuring quality of the frequencies included in the system information received from the current serving cell in response to receiving the paging signal including the request message, and selecting the target frequency based on a result of the measuring. The user equipment reselects a serving cell on the selected target frequency.

In particular, configurations are disclosed to address the challenge of a mobile device that moves through a physical environment wherein the best wireless connectivity performance is achieved by switching between available connection sources and constantly evaluating a primary connection with other available connections that may be switched in to become a new primary connection. The mobile device may be self-propelled or carried by some other mobilizing means.

Abstract: A time synchronization method, and device are described. The method includes determining a target base station from neighboring base stations of a source base station; determining, based on a preset handover condition and from first user equipments (UEs) connected to the source base station, a to-be-handed-over UE that needs to be handed over to the target base station; triggering the to-be-handed-over UE to be handed over from the source base station to the target base station; and performing time synchronization with the target base station in a handover process of the to-be-handed-over UE. The to-be-handed-over UE is triggered to be handed over to the pre-determined target base station. This implements time synchronization with the target base station, resolves relatively low flexibility of time synchronization between base stations in a related technology, and improves flexibility of time synchronization between the source base station and the target base station.
