    摘要: A technical test method for evaluating at least one operating parameter of a device over a sequence of a plurality of operating stages, each stage corresponding to a stable value of at least one operating setpoint of the device. The method including at least sampling values of the at least one operating parameter over time, filtering the sampled values in order to obtain a filtered signal for each operating parameter, calculating the variance of the sampled values for each operating parameter in a sampling window during the operating stage, calculating the absolute value of the time derivative of the filtered signal for each operating parameter, and changing the value of the at least one operating setpoint when, for each operating parameter, the variance of the sampled values and the absolute value of the time derivative of the filtered signal are less than respective predetermined lower thresholds.

    摘要: A method of monitoring a component includes providing the component which includes a body having an exterior surface and a plurality of passive strain indicators configured on the exterior surface. The method includes directly measuring the component with at least one three-dimensional data acquisition device. The direct measurement generates a first point cloud and a plurality of second point clouds. The first point cloud corresponds to the exterior surface and includes a plurality of first data points, each data point having an X-axis coordinate, a Y-axis coordinate, and a Z-axis coordinate. Each second point cloud corresponds to one of the plurality of passive strain indicators and includes a plurality of second data points, each data point having an X-axis coordinate, a Y-axis coordinate, and a Z-axis coordinate. A second data point density of each second point cloud is greater than a first data point density of each first point cloud.

    摘要: An engine testing system comprises a rotary absorber that provides a variable resistance to an engine under test and heats coolant from a cold reservoir. A hot reservoir coupled to rotary absorber stores the heated coolant for later (or concurrent) use. Moreover, an organic Rankine cycle turbine-generator device is coupled to the hot reservoir, which converts heat from heated coolant into electrical power. A conditioning system is coupled to the organic Rankine cycle turbine-generator device that cools the coolant for storage in the cold reservoir. The available captured waste energy may be augmented with waste energy that is also available during engine testing. The additional waste energy may be in the form of exhaust gases, thrust, heat from engine coolant systems, residual engine heat, radiant or convective waste heat, friction etc. Variations of the above system may replace the primary energy re-capture from other than a rotary absorber.
