Abstract: Provided is an image delivery apparatus configured to deliver a moving image that is a display object to an image display control apparatus configured to display a moving image to present the moving image to a user. The image delivery apparatus delivers, to the image display control apparatus at one time, any one of a plurality of moving images different from each other in portion displayable at high resolution in a displayable range, and acquires information regarding a watching direction of the user in the displayable range, to thereby select a moving image of the plurality of moving images as a delivery target based on the information regarding the watching direction.

Abstract: Disclosed is an image generation apparatus generating and outputting a panoramic image that is obtained by converting, to a planar shape, a projection plane onto which a scene within at least a partial range of a virtual sphere as viewed from an observation point is projected. The panoramic image is such that a unit area on the virtual sphere containing a given attention direction as viewed from the observation point is converted to a broader area than other unit areas. The image generation apparatus generates the panoramic image corresponding to the projection plane such that a portion of a main line that links a position in the attention direction to a position in a direction opposite the attention direction and is within the panoramic image corresponding to a unit amount of an angle of rotation around the observation point is maximized in length at a position closest to the attention direction.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus provide for acquiring information relating to at least one of a position and a rotation of a user's head wearing a head-mounted display; generating an image for the head-mounted display using information relating to at least one of a position and a rotation acquired at a certain point of time; and a correcting process includes receiving updated information relating to at least one of a position and a rotation at a different point of time and correcting the image generated using the updated information. The generating the image includes using the information relating to at least one of the position and the rotation in a first frequency; and the correcting includes receiving updated information relating to at least one of a position and a rotation in a second frequency corresponding to a frame rate of the head-mounted display. The correcting includes multiple times of correction of the image generated in the first frequency using a plurality of the updated information in the second frequency, which is higher than the first frequency.
