    Abstract: A display device and a method of controlling the display device are provided. The display device includes: a display unit for displaying visual information to a user on an overall screen region, and being configured to bend with respect to a bending portion between screen regions of the overall screen region that display the visual information; a pressure sensor a location corresponding to the bending portion, and being configured to sense a first pressure applied to the bending portion when the display unit is bent with respect to the bending portion; and a control unit for controlling the visual information provided through the display unit based on sensing information transferred from the pressure sensor.
