Abstract: There is provided a display control apparatus including a display control unit configured to move a cursor position displayed on a display unit or to scroll a screen displayed on the display unit in accordance with a change amount of an indicated direction of a direction indicator, and a switching control unit configured to switch the display control unit moving the cursor position and the display control unit scrolling the screen. After the switching control unit switches the display control unit scrolling the screen to the display control unit moving the cursor position, the display control unit reduces a movement amount of the cursor position with respect to the change amount.
