Abstract: The subject technology displays first augmented reality content on a computing device, the first augmented reality content comprising a first output media content. The subject technology provides for display a plurality of selectable graphical items, each of the selectable graphical items corresponding to a different augmented reality content including a set of media content modified utilizing facial synthesis. The subject technology receives a selection of one of the plurality of selectable graphical items. The subject technology, based at least in part on the selection, identifies second augmented reality content. The subject technology provides the second augmented reality content for display on the computing device.

Abstract: A method for searching and ranking personalized videos includes receiving a user request via a communication chat between a user and another user. The user request includes a phrase. The method performs, based on the phrase, a search in a first pool of pre-rendered videos to determine a first subset of relevant videos ranked according to first rankings. The pre-rendered videos include pre-rendered text messages. The method performs a search in a second pool of customized videos to determine a second subset of relevant videos ranked according to second rankings. The customized videos include text messages modified by the user. The method generates a set of videos. The set of videos includes a first number of pre-rendered videos from the first subset of relevant videos and a second number of customized videos from the second subset of relevant videos. The method presents the set of videos via the communication chat.

Abstract: A system for customizing text messages in modifiable videos of a multimedia messaging application (MMA) is provided. In one example embodiment, the system includes a processor and a memory storing processor-executable codes, wherein the processor is configured to analyze recent messages of a user in the MMA to determine a context of the recent messages; determine, based on the context, a customized text message; select, based on the context, a list of relevant modifiable videos from a database configured to store modifiable videos, the modifiable videos being associated with preset text messages; replace the preset text messages in the relevant modifiable videos with the customized message; and render the list of relevant modifiable videos for viewing and selecting by the user, the rendering including displaying the customized text message in the relevant modifiable videos.
