Abstract: Various aspects relate to adjusting communication timing in response to a switch from one feeder link to another feeder link in a non-terrestrial network. For example, when a satellite moves out of the coverage area of a first ground network entity (or if the first ground network entity is turned off), the satellite switches to a second ground network entity. The resulting switch from a first feeder link for the first ground network entity to a second feeder link for the second ground network entity may cause a timing glitch that adversely affects the UEs under the coverage of the satellite. The disclosure relates in some aspects to sending an indication of the switch and/or a common timing adjust command to all of the UEs affected by the feeder link switch.

In some aspects, a first user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a cross-link interference (CLI) sounding reference signal (SRS) measurement resource configuration that indicates an orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) modulated SRS associated with a second UE. The first UE may receive, from the second UE, the OTFS modulated SRS based at least in part on the CLI SRS measurement resource configuration. The first UE may perform a CLI measurement over one or more symbols in which the OTFS modulated SRS is transmitted. Abstract: Method and apparatus for an initial E2E discovery procedure in direct NTN networks. The apparatus receives, from a network entity, an indication indicating support for a direct NTN communication. The direct NTN communication between the first UE and at least a second UE bypasses ground-based feeder links. The apparatus transmits, to the network entity, a communication request for the direct NTN communication with at least the second UE based on the indication indicating support for the direct NTN communication. The communication request is transmitted to the second UE via the direct NTN communication. The apparatus receives, from the second UE, a communication request feedback message indicating that the second UE is reachable over the direct NTN communication. A user equipment (UE) may determine an inactivity timer associated with a first set of one or more beams used for communicating with a network entity associated with a satellite has expired. The UE may identify location information corresponding to the location of the UE with respect to the network entity. The UE may identify beam geometry information for one or more beams associated with the network entity. For example, the UE may receive the beam geometry information from the network entity. The UE may process the location information and the beam geometry information to identify a second set of one or more beams, the second set different than the first set. The UE and the network entity may communicate according to the second set of one or more beams.
